Could be squirrel was a senior brave one and requesting Owl to relent on it's hunt of the local population.
Awesome picture, wish I could get something like that one some day!
Excellent shot. Rare to get such an opportunity, warblers are so much on the move. Great patience!
Jerry, my wife uses Joann's all the time. Some how, many years ago, she got on an email/snail mail disto for 40% off any one item on a regular basis. Might need to investigate becoming a "member" or something. She did not do anything special as far as I know.
You are fantastic! Wish we could have more like you in this country and world!
So, I like just about all the music folks posted here, thanks BTW!

Had to correct my own reply, spiders are not insects! But still crucial to the order of the ecosystem.

That's kind of a broad statement describing an entire population based on a single member. The majority of spiders (and insects in general) are either beneficial or harmless. We have jumping spiders in our house (about the size of your fingernail) that eat flies and mosquitoes and they don't spin webs that become dust webs. They hang around our windows and houseplants and I carefully avoid bothering them when I vacuum or dust. We get along just fine.
We do the same! Agree, most insects are a beneficial part of our world, don't panic.

Nice Little Feat reference and great photo. I am not a truck driver, but I have driven cross country about a dozen times.
Mine only goes back 20 years. Fantastic to see all of you and fantastic to see the years! We did less traditional, was in my parents back yard in Las Cruces NM 2002.
Thanks for sharing. Was a horrible mind bending day. My girlfriend (now wife) called as I was getting ready for work and told me to turn on the TV. Within a minute after I turned it on the the second airplane hit the next tower. I told her this was no accident and I needed to go to work immediately. That afternoon no planes in the sky over New Mexico as I was laying in my backyard and looked at the sky.
BTW on a softer note, I don't like BW. Terrible beer. :)
Graham, continue in your humor. I am a pet lover (lost 8 cats over the last 12 years, all very old) but do not believe every post needs to be scrutinized for every persons individual circumstance.
Nice series! I am jealous you got a Cotimundis, twice even! I lived in the SW for 30 years and have not had that luck... Maybe when I move back in 2-3 years my luck will change.
