I am looking to expand my music playlist to include a greater variety of genres and musicians. I am turning to the collective insights and tastes of this forum to ask for suggestions. Please respond with up to 3 songs that you really like that you feel I should listen to - any genre of music is fair game. I intend to listen to all suggestions and see which ones I like. My goal is to expose myself to other genres/styles/musicians to be more well rounded in my music tastes. In your suggestions, please list song name, musician, and genre if possible. Thanks.

What It's Like - Everlast - Rock/Soul???
Remember the Name - Fort Minor - Rock/Rap
Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley - ???
These can be found on YouTube.
Hallelujah is a Leonard Cohen composition that has been covered over and over, but the Jeff Buckley version stands out for me.
At 71 years old now, I find myself listening more and more to my "kids" music. I need something fresh.

I will suggest some modern examples of popular music. There is actually good stuff out there (but not on the radio!)
The 1975 "Chocolate"
Caro Emerald. Has a very old-school sound. Try "Riviera life" first.
Vienna Tang "Level up". I still choke up on that one.
LP "Lost on you" and "Night like this"
The Black Keys "Fever"
Keane "Everybody's changing"
Family of the year "Hero"
Country music? I very much like these.
Andrew Combs. Try "Nothing to lose" and "Foolin' "
Train "Bruises"
Lindi Ortega "Cigarettes and truckstops"
Indian pop music (?!) Nothing specific. Just sample some. There is lots of international music. African, K-Pop ...
Jonathan Coultan A multi-talented musician that makes very funny songs. Try "Code monkey", and "Re: Your brains". That one is about a zombie negotiating a business deal with its intended victim.
