On my old computer, which was a Windows 10 with 16Mb of memory, it would take almost that long when saving. I have since upgraded to 32Mb and it saves much faster, only a about 10 to 15 seconds now.

I was a Nikon user myself (3 cameras with half a dozen or so lenses), until I bought my first Fuji, now it is pretty much all I shot with. I just really like how it operates, not to mention the size and weight loss going to a mirrorless camera gave me.

I also have this lens and love it. I have not had any noise issues that a couple of others have mentioned. The lens is very sharp and it is my go to lens for macro.

I use Luminar 3 by Skylum and I find it very easy to learn and use. Now I am not a professional, but I have used many different photo programs over the years and am very happy with the results I get from Luminar as a stand alone program. I normally shoot raw (both Fuji and Nikon) and Luminar provides me with very satisfactory results. For the it's price I don't think you could go wrong with it.

I'm still suffering with a hankering for a Sigma DP2 Merrill.
Just to do it, try it out, roll around and play with it.
No, I don't know why.

I have one myself, along with my Nikons, and Fujis, and while I find it not the easiest camera, and not the first one I reach for, it does give me the best results for stills and portraits. You can never have to many cameras. I also have an older sigma DP-1x, which I do find myself grabbing when I just want to carry something in my pocket for the just in case moment.

For those that are interested, I own this camera, and it has one of the sharpest lens I have ever had. You must shot raw and use their software to get the most out of it. But if you can live with that, it takes some of the best photos I have ever taken.

OK, Trail Ridge Road if it's open, there are several pull offs, a few with some really short walks to places that has great views of the mountains around you. Drive the whole length, at least to the visitor's center if you can. You can also follow it all the way to Granby makes a nice drive with lots of views. Be sure to stop at some of the turn offs, the views are worth it.
Take the drive up to Bear Lake nice views on the way and the walk (paved) around the lake is fairly level.
Down town Estes Park, nice walk with a lot of small shops that offer up some nice photo ops. Also at that time of year the Elk may be down around Lake Estes (the large lake in town) I have seen some really huge Elk there.
Drive to the Cub Lake trail head in Moraine Park, take the trail (fairly level at the start) just a short distance as it crosses the stream and you can get nice views of the valley, as well as possible elk views that time of year.
Alluvial Falls also offers some nice view and its just a short paved walk from the parking lot.
Have fun and enjoy your trip.

Wildlife you'll see: Elk and Deer for sure.
Snow Tires: probably not, but this is Colorado so there is no guarantee.
3-4 days? What are your plans, just driving around or doing some hiking? You could spend weeks there and never see it all, yes it is that big.
Which area: Drive the Trail Ridge Road (lots of great views and short hikes up there, but the road closes mid-Oct due to weather), and up to Bear Lake, short hikes to Alberta Falls, and Dream Lake. Lots more just need to know your activity level.
Been going there each year for about 10 years now and still am finding new places to hike and see.

Don't find it to be a problem at all. I crop to the size I am printing and print 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 regularly.
