Nikon D5 w/Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 lens. The game was at a local rink. Lighting actually wasn't too bad at this game. Shooting through the glass so I push the ISO up to 10000 which allows me to shoot f5 @ 1000th sec.

I've looked into selling a couple of my old DSLR's and found what they were going to pay was a little insulting considering what they were going to resell it for. I passed them along to people just getting into the photography game. All I asked was that when they decided to move onto a newer or better camera, do the same. Pass it on. Plenty of youngsters out there that would appreciate it. Just my thought on it.

Spent a little time Saturday down by the marina. The Osprey were out seemingly trying to dry out and rebuild after Tropical Storm Isaias took a swipe at us during the week. Not too sure the rebuild will be allowed to stay were it's being started, atop the heavy boat lift at the SCPD Marine Bureau's yard...

Good morning, afternoon and evening... Long time sports shooter here. Mostly amateur hockey as it has become a year round activity here. Between the regular season, then a few spring leagues and even summer house leagues, there is always someone on the ice knocking a puck around. I do get in some baseball and lacrosse when time allows. Here's a 90 degree day in a cool inflatable dome rink. The boys played the first period through a fog.
