love the colors and the "idea" of the pictures but agree they need to be sharper

this is unedited. should i do anything to it?

I will tell you what I read in one of my tutorial's. We see in 3D the camera "see's" in 2 D. What we are trying to do with our photo's, is to show it as close to the way that we saw it, as we can. This is where post processing software comes in, or if it is shot with film, then dark room tweeking.

I think that if you brought out the color's more, you would see a big difference. Of course this is only my opinion. I'm not very good at this.

I agree about saturating the colors a bit...i think it will really make it "pop"

well, I am glad I had the good taste to like the first 3 then...lol.
I like the reflections of the last one but doesn't "do it" for me like the others.

I love the colors in both also but in the first one the tree... (or branch???) in the lower right kind of distracts from the tree as a whole, I would love to see the whole trunk to get more of a feel of the massiveness of the tree.
In the second one, is there a way to crop out the green tree as to me it takes away from the whole effect of the autumn colors...but that is just a lowly amateurs thoughts.

I took it back in and played with it some more. Do you like this better?

adore the pic of the flower...so beautiful. I think I actually prefer the 1st or 2nd version of the golden arches because they are dark enough that you don't see the landscape below which is a bit distracting in the last version you posted...thats just me:)

I like #1 with the color and reflection of the flower but the junk in the back is distracting...any way to crop itout and keep the good stuff?
I agree about the 2nd shot...gorgeous but not really clear
