Perhaps you can rent the 6d, 7d, 80d cameras locally.

I'd agree female house sparrow.

House finch or purple finch would have a streaked breast.

House sparrows are ruthless. They will fight and kill bluebirds and martins, adults and hatchlings.
House sparrows and European starlings are non native species in the US and not protected.

Interested in this lens too, so searched the slot's purpose.

ET-83D lens hood, that features a cleverly placed and convenient side window allowing the user to easily adjust specialty filters while the lens hood remains in place

We were on a cruise last year at this time. We had a beautiful warm sunny day. Your day may be cloudy, rainy. Adapt to whatever atmospheric conditions you have.
Most importantly, shoot in RAW so you can have post processing fun!

I am planning on visiting different parks and had wondered what would be the best lens to use
without having to caring lot of lenses

You didn't mention what lens or lenses you currently have/use on the 80d.

What type parks will you be visiting? City parks, State parks? Anticipate shooting landscape, flora and fauna, statues, wildlife? Maybe what you already have will work just fine for you.
I find my 18-135 IS USM on my 80d is fine in most "scenic" instances.

After much consideration and reviewing this same topic last year for my 80d. I bought a Wasabi battery. I've had no issues with said battery in camera or in Canon charger.

Nice shot of the Northern Crested Caracara!
It is noticeable a bit around the bird.
We've had one in our area recently (40 miles south of Ft Worth Tx). First saw one up here last year on a donkey carcass across the road.

Google search "pink rose Flickr" then select images.
I search and view photos for subjects I want to sketch, draw then use color pencil or paint said subject. Roses are often used in practice for shapes and shading.
In the past few weeks, I've looked at dozens of photos of Cardinals, Blue Jays, Purple Martins, Hummingbirds and Butterflies. I'll have to keep in mind how many have been from Flickr on my next search.

I didn't find keeping track of our 17 day Alaskan adventure difficult at all. I know where I was on a particular day from our trip itinerary. Each photo date stamped. Once on the computer they are sorted automatically by date. I can rename those files with a location, Fairbanks, Denali, Talkeetna etc. Photos on/from the ship are treated the same. Hubbard Glacier (you won't forget) Skagway to Juneau, whale watching in Juneau, Mendenhall Glacier (also unforgettable) etc.
You could take a phone photo of itinerary, or use a notepad app on the phone.
Enjoy your trip, it's fantastic!

I have the "Set My Camera" app
on my iPhone, there is a free and paid version. DOF is on the free version, but you have to deal with the ads and upgrade popups. There are a lot more features in the paid version. I'd post a screenshot but don't see how to do it from the phone.

I found a ThinkTank "Mirrorless Mover 30i" at local camera shop. Fit what I needed perfectly. It's similar to their "Story teller" series.
Shoulder bag, easy access and holds a lot. I carried it on an Alaskan landtour and cruise no problems. Airplane, ship, TSA Security on off no problems. I carry it around local parks, hiked with it around State Park trails, air shows no problems. Carries my Canon 80d, 18-135 lens, iPhone 7plus, spare camera battery and charger, I also carry a couple of rechargeable battery packs for the phone. The bag also has a pocket that will fit a 10" tablet. I could even carry another lens if I wanted. Much easier access and inconspicuous than my backpack.

It looks like an American Goldfinch. They look rather drab in winter.
