Pixels are spots of color. The resolution is how many per inch there are. Normally a resolution of 240 to 360 dots per inch will cover all your printing needs. I will have to look up what the average computer monitor uses but it is below 300. I will also lookup how many dots per inch the human eye sees and how many colors it sees.

When you make an adjustment in camera raw the raw file does not change. The adjustments are tagged to the raw picture in a separate file. When you convert them to tiff or jpeg then the addon file is used to process the photo to get the results you want. The Raw file is all the information your camera gathered when you took the shot. You have to process this information to make a photo

I just downloaded this software on my new laptop. First off if you go to the canon folder on your programs page you will see EOS utility and Eos utility 2. The Eos Utility 2 is the old program with the different options If you want you can drag and drop this to your desktop so you now have two Eos Utility programs. EOS Utiliy calls the EOS Utility 2.

If the Eos utility programs won't start properly just turn your camera of and then back on this should wake up the programs ,

Good luck

For the past five years I have been fighting to save my right leg from a staff infection. My leg is improving this year. They took my knee completely out and put a plastic spacer in and a metal rod halfway up and down my leg.The leg only bends at the ankle and hip. When I sit it sticks straight out. No pain now and so far no infection. I had a 60d and a 7d before all this started and a nice collection of lens. It seems my kids decided that since I spent so much time with rehabbing and so much time in the hospital I did not need my cameras any more. I finally got one back and two lens. Then to top it of my wife tells me she wants this camera so she and my daughter can take classes together with my other camera. Good thing I just bought an Olympus Sp-800uz because I don't think I am going to get much time on the dslr's. I am really happy everyone wants to be photographers but give me a break.

Socialism never has ever delivered prosperity to the masses. The nanny state will bankrupt us. We are now a second rate country.

I have been a jurist in three criminal trials. After going through these expriences I would only have a judge decide any case I am envolved in. Most of the other jurists where convinced they where Perry Mason and knew the law better then the judge. They could not follow the judges instructions. In one trial the man tried to force a women to drive him out of the parking lot. Because she got away they did not find him guilty of kidnapping. She kicked his butt because he was high on drugs.
