I got it fixed.. Called tech support and it was some sort of malfunction in the program.. :-). Thank you all for checking it out. I love the "add glow".feature. Personally I think its gorgeous to add a little glow to some photos, I dont add it to all, but to some I think its pretty. :-)

Im new too.. Welcome,, so far I am loving these folks.. even if they dont reply specifically to MY posts, I still learn a lot from them by reading what they say to others..

yes I did try to reset it.. I have done & undone everything I could think of and tried it with other photos, its doing this same thing eerytime.. I have absolutely NO clue what got changed. Im hoping somebody famaliar with Photoshop Elements 9 can help me out here. Im so desperate to have my old settings back. This is my last resort or Im just about to un install it and risk having to pay for it again to get it back the way it was.. Its been about 2 weeks me trying to get it back. :-( Im just so frusterated and bummed

I think something is wrong with my photoshop OR me.. All I know is it used to do what I wanted and now it isnt..

In the "Perfect Portrait" tool more specifically the "Add Glow" feature it USED to add a beautiful glow, I could add as much as I want to totally blow out a photo (which I did in some instances) BUT NOW it makes it almost cartoonish.. below is the same photo showing the difference that is doing now..

Please help me get it back to the way it was, I dont know what the heck changed..

Hey everyone. Im new to this group and photography. I wanted to introduce some of my favorite work. Trashing the dress isn't a new concept, but I put a little twist on it and it is taking off better than I expected.. I do "Trash the Dress DIVORCE STYLE" for those ladies that are getting a divorce OR already are divorced we have one last photoshoot with their dress, then we "trash it" in any way that they choose..

most f the photos taken prior to "trashing the dress" are meant to be symbolic photos.. :-)
