Whaaaaa! The royal couple seems to be doing a good job representing their generation and concentrating on humanitarian endeavors instead of the social parties of old. Give them a break, if you open you mind you will see a loving couple who has broken away from the self centered history of monarchy. U.S has lots to learn on the Brit ways of birthing, healthcare and time off. I for one am happy for them but not obsessed w this as more than a news story that will cool off in a few weeks. Much better than tragic stories that are over-followed and show court trials on tv.
This type of shot against textured worn wall reminds me of those enhanced in Topaz Labs. Check it out, this would be a great pic to try that with. Love the color and textures as well as your keen eye to capture a great moment on the street.
You gave two gifts. Seeing and sweet interaction with Malady, as she so often has become transparent in the world whirling by her. And providing an photo of her for her family to remember that nice day. Their memory of going thru this time will be patched with small wonderful moments where they slowed down to enjoy the present with their loved one. Your story has made my day!
I found a great teacher online. You can do a free Skinny Mini Photoshop class and learn very easily from this wonderful and generous lady. KimKlassenCafe.com. You can sign up for her weekly Texture Tuesday free texture, which she shows you in tutorials how to use to enhance your photos incredibly. Her tutorials cover both CS PhotoShop and Elements and she does Lightroom tuts also. good luck on your learning journey!
Glad everyone has answered your question. I would highly recommend going online to kimklassencafe.com and signup for her FREE Skinny Mini Photoshop class. It is excellent and you do at own pace. Look at her textures too! You and I appear to be same age bracket and I bet you will fall in love with Kim's style. She is so giving and inspiring. Good luck
Definitely Topaz Labs is great and affordable. Go to their site or search on YouTube for their tutorials. They have great free webinars for training and upload them to YouTube . They offer great discounts when yo attend webinar for free.
Very nice photos, however, since sisters are into decor, a better frame choice would be:
Larger frame so mat is wider around photo. As is, the mat is too much the same width as the frame thickness. A more Contemporary style would be a larger black frame with same width shown but use a 2.5"-3" mat. try out a black mat too for a real pop on the gorgeous oranges. A bigger frame (not thickness) will give your work the art quality it deserves on a wall. Lucky sisters. I get my simple frames and mats at Michaels with coupons.
Much better without the hand

Hi everyone...looking for some help here. I have been obsessed with photography forever but as of late last year have really begun focusing on Portraiture. I need your help in determining what the best photoshop software is in this subject. I have been asked to do family and children portraites and need all the help I can get! Thanks so much! I have included just one of my favorite subjects...my grandson! Thanks again
Darling child! I use Elements 9 and the plug ins of Topaz Labs. Go to that .com to see what topaz can offer reasonably priced and free webinars that are also posted to Youtube. Check it out. I like the off center phot better, the background that is distracting can be blurred out easily with Topaz. I mainly just use Elements for the layers I Topaz on. Check it out. Their new B&W effects is fly.
checkout the tutorials and archived workshops for photgraphing suggestions for your jewelry at etsy.com
They cover just what you need.
what am I doing wrong?? I browse and see it listed the hit send
OMG I have done this 3 times trying to let Beegal know what I have learned. Not sure why when I download 2 photos the first one disappears and then nothing sends. So I will just send the before with my message then do another with the after.
Basically, Beegal, I use Elements9 too but want you to checkout topazlabs.com for an additional plugin software. they have free webinar training on that site or youtube archived. There you will learn the products and also basics of photoshop elements layers/masks. Register and attend a webinar at end you get a 30% discount on purchase and feel of where it can take you. Good luck here is my AFTER topazed photo - kind of a HDR style in this case. Hopefully the BEFRE will go thru - It was pretty uninteresting and shot with just a point & shoot dim lighting no flash so not good.
