Is the Manual Focus clutch engaged?
Move the focus ring forward or backward on the lens to change from Auto to Manual focus.
Great pics of a wonderful example of the horseless carriage era!

Excellent photos. These were masterpieces of craftsmanship. Those leather seats are beautiful. Obviously you wouldn't take this car out in bad weather.
Some of us do exactly that...just like they did in the early 1900s!
This video was taken by my son-in-law as I drove our 1910 Buick to a local show last summer.
The music is from the early 1900s. He added the vignette and sepia effects for fun.
He and my grandchildren were in the back seat.
They were dry when we arrived. Me...not so much.

I really like the second image!
We were in Hobart recently. Did you go up to the peak of Mt Wellington?
I received a "Rome Photo Fun Tour" gift from my wife in advance of our 2023 visit to Rome.
The tour she chose was a private, night photography tour of Rome, guided by Giulio D'Ecole, a professional photographer.
Giulio provides a professional tripod if you're travelling without one (as I was). He picked us up at our hotel and provided transportation to all the sites then drive us back to the hotel at the end of the session.
Giulio also offers 2-day regional excursions to Tuscany, Umbria, Apulia, Rome and surrounding areas.
His English is excellent, he is patient and helpful. His personal story is very interesting and includes life experiences in Italy, the U.S. and Africa.
I was very happy with the tour and I highly recommend his service if you're looking for a photographic tour.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I've still got some good stuff to add.
Hope to get time this weekend to show you the rest of the story.
Some additional images from the Detroit Concours.
"120 Years of Buick" class showcased Buicks from the 1905 Model C touring to a 1986 GNX (number 47, I believe).
These images show the 1905 to 1960 Buicks from this class.
Beautiful images, Howard!

Thank you, jmt455! I'm glad you got to attend, looks like it was a good show & weather was nice.
It was a perfect weather day!
Very nice event, even with fewer eye-popping cars than prior years.
Sorry, the Sony "ARW" files did not display in the original post.

@KTJohnson asked for some images from the 2023 Detroit Concours.
This event is the current version of the "Concours of America", held annually at Meadowbrook Hall for over 30 years until it was moved to the Inn at St John's in Plymouth, MI in 2011. Last year, following the acquisition of the event by Hagerty (the collector car insurance company), the event was moved to the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA).
Hagerty's DIA version is a much smaller show, with approximately 150 vehicles on display instead of the typical 300 exhibits at previous events.
This first group includes the America Pre-War and European Pre-War classes. (Pre-War means Pre-WWII)
