The following photo was taken at sunset and has no processing other than a slight clarity adjustment and a minor crop for straightening. This huge sandstone rock changes color throughout the day depending on how the light from Old Sol hits it. We watched it transform during a sunrise and also during this sunset and each time it transformed into many magnificent colors.

You mean the part about how "It's all about the light! And the color!" 🥰

No bad time of day to be there, as you mentioned!

Your Beautiful shot is ALL about the Warm Light and Heavy shadows!
Both Sunrise and Sunset have many beautiful warm colors.
I used to Color-Correct* my pics taken early or late in the day.
Now I embrace both the Warm Sunrise/Sunset and the Dramatic Blue Hour.

Your Beautiful shot is ALL about the Warm Light an... (show quote)

I try the best I can to capture the true colors in my photos. So much depends on available light and having the correct or as close to correct camera settings as to what your mind’s eye says it should be. But breaking it down to the most basic level, it is all about the light. Sometimes I expose to the right and other times to the darker shades, but when I see an opportunity to get it just right, I’ll do that as best I can. Thanks for the comment.
