Their filters are really great, I have most of them and they really bring out colors, contrast and clarity to dull photos.
So what were you using on these? Clarity, or Adjust, or Detail or Symplify?
You did great considering that lens is around 64 ounces by itself.
Nice composition. I take a lot of moon shots hand held with that same camera. It is a good P&S Camera.
I Use:
Canon D60
Canon 450Rebel
Canon SX50HS
Canon S5IS
Olympus TG-610 tough camera
Both are just great shots. I have yet to see a bald eagle where I live on the west coast. Plenty of hawks but no eagles. The detail is fabulous. I have not used my 150-600mm lens much yet but it looks as though is does a fine job. Thanks for sharing.
Sorry I did not get back sooner busy with home things. The tripod I found that will work is a Sunpak 7000 ultra. It will support about 12 pounds. I went and looked at one at Best Buy for $91.00 and it is well built.
I don't want to spend big bucks as I already have three other tripods.
It can be obtained from 69 to the 91 dollars per different places.

Thanks that was direct URL copy and surprised it didn't go right.
Nice shots someone was up early on the sun rise. I really like that one. Living in the east bay I have only made it over there early once to get some bridge shots, traffic is tough even at 5am.
Good evening my name is John T and I just joined in December. I have been into nature/landscape photography for about four years. I still consider myself a newbie as I am learning new things all the time. I have a few shots currently posted on Flickr. I am using primarily a Canon D60 and old Rebel 450 with various lenses. Hope to learn more on manual mode from experienced folks and night shooting.

I agree on the Tamron 16-300, it has wide angle and zoom so you are getting a lens that can shoot closeup as well as zoom which is a money saver in the long run.
Nice shots, and like you I am getting used to using the Tamron 150-600mm lens. I have three tri-pods and so far it did not work well on the Manfrotto. Your clarity and DOF on the Anna HB was really good.
