I have not been active lately because two
friends who went with me on daytime
photo trips moved away. So this memory
stick is a new product that has snuck up
on me. I want to find out more and begin using one or more of them. I read
this with great interest because I am very
slow to learn “computerworld” Should I start with a call to B&H?

Get to know Lens Rental. They are easy
to do business with, dependable in their
dealings, knowledgeable about
photo equipment. I have rented several
lens from them to use on longer trips
(Alaska, Canada, Maine etc) The lens are
at a FedEx “store” at the nearest city,
like new and on time. Great variety of
photo equip available Call them; You’ll
be glad you did. Ted Evans
Rent an extender from Lens Rental in
Cordova TN. Call them. They can advise
you on best one for your purpose. I have
done business with them and they are the best. I will continue to rent from them. Ted Evans
I am NOT in the mood to sing for you!
Hard to distinguish from modern art!
Do you really think a wall (if it was there
already) would stop them?
It appears that he/she wants to go with you and this is a subtle hint. After all,
subtlety is not well developed in a cat.
I have been to Alaska and I were you,
buy or rent from Lens Rental of Cordova
(Memphis) TN. a Canon 7D ii and two
lens - a Canon 24-105ii and a Canon
100-400ii, both their best lens - L series.
With this combo you can get most
good shots of any wildlife. With the right
exposure you can get landscape or
wildlife sharp and clear and cropable.
Wishing you a great trip! You can have
Lens Rentals ship it to you to any nearby
FedEx store and return it from the same.
I did this in Anchorage.
store w/o having to take the additional
weight.
I have reached the age when I no longer
want a heavy load of camera equip to take.
I also travel much less. So I need to sell:
1. PELICAN hard case w. “airport wheels”
It is a carry on size and is in excellent
condition - used now for airtight storage
2. tamrac back pack - easily holds 2 dslr
cameras, 2 zoom lens, flash, and other
misc needed items. Tamrac labels it as
an Expedition 6X. It is also in very
good condition from little use. Contact
Ted Evans, through UHH, provide your email and I will send photos.

A few years ago we hired a guide for 4 hrs/ day on about 3 separate days in middle of June who knows photography like he knows
that territory. His name is Jared Griskowski. (sp?). This was at Rocky Mountain Nat Park but he knows other locations where guides are needed.
He is a great guide and I recommend him
and hope you can find him. You might begin your search for him at/near Estes Park CO.

I have a backpack that I bought when I
felt more like carrying it. It is a Tamrac
that held two Cameras - Canon 5D & 7D,
and two lens Canon 100-400 and 24-105.
I am selling the 7Dii and an extender. I
now have a carry on size Pelican hard case.
Get my email from Ugly Hedgehog and
send me your email. I will photograph it
and send you pictures. It also held flash
and assorted other smaller photo accessories. It is still in very good condition. Ted Evans
This is so helpful and encouraging for all
of those who write in asking for help. As
a Hogger this is just what I would want to
read.
Look at Cotton Carrier vests and their other
products which are made for this situation.
Many reputable photo suppliers carry them
or go to the company directly. Cotton
Carrier vests have a unique fastener that
enables you to quickly remove your camera
or to refasten it. Ted Evans
