I would take the 10-22 and the 24-70, but if you want to travel lighter the G15 or G16 would be a good choice.

I've been dealing with keh.com for at least 12 years, and I've never had a problem. They grade very conservatively so a camera or lens graded ex is like a new lens or camera.

The SX530 is what is called a bridge camera. I would not recommend any camera without a viewfinder so would not recommend an SX530. Other bridge cameras that I do recommend include the Canon SX50 and SX60, the Nikon P610 and P530, and the Panasonic FZ200 and FZ300. If you want a smaller camera consider the Panasonic ZS50 and the Canon G15 and G16.

You can get a good used P&S for around $200 or you can spend almost $1000. What is your budget?

The camera phone is today's low end P&S. Like a low end P&S it's capable of taking good photos when used within its limits. Years ago most casual photographers were happy with their Kodak Instamatics and low end P&S's. Today they are happy with their camera phones.

What's the problem with an FX lens on a DX camera? See my earlier post as to why an FX lens would actually be preferable.

The problem with a 28-300 on an APS-C camera is that it leaves you without a real wide-angle.

I have one and I find it be very good for a travel zoom. I especially like that it has a EVF (electronic viewfinder). The EVF is great in bright light when the LCD screen is hard to see. It's also good for when you shoot at long telephoto focal lengths or in low light because it is more stable holding the camera to your eye than holding it out in front of you.

If you shoot subjects that require a long lens consider the Nikon 18-300, Sigma 18-300, and Tamron 16-300. If you don't need that long of a lens consider a Nikon 18-140 VR. All-in-one lenses like an 18-300 are controversial. They are not as sharp as lower ratio zooms especially at the long end, but many find them to be sharp enough. The 18-140 VR is sharp from end to end.

All-in-ones like an 18-200 are controversial. Some love them, others don't. They are not as sharp, especially at the long end, as lower ratio zooms like a Nikon 70-300 VR, but many find them to be sharp enough. IMO, if you don't make prints larger than 11x14 and you're not a pixel peeper you may be happy with the 18-200. I never print larger than 8.5x11 and I'm very happy with both my Sigma 18-200 OS HSM and Sigma 18-300 OS HSM.

The Tamron 70-300 VC has gotten very good reviews.

They both make very good lenses. Depending on the focal length one may be a little better than the other, but in general there isn't much difference between them in terms of quality.

I've been dealing with keh for at least 10 years and I've never had a problem. They grade very conservatively so even a bargain camera or lens is in good condition and one rated EX is almost like new.

I suggest a used or refurbished Nikon 18-55 VR, Nikon 18-105 VR, or Nikon 18-140 VR. Try keh.com, B&H, and Adorama for a new, used, or refurbished one.

You will need both a wide-angle and a telephoto. I suggest the new Nikon DL24-500 or Panasonic FZ1000. These are bridge cameras with one inch sensors. Most bridge cameras have much smaller sensors and sensor size matters.

With a 1.4x converter you lose 1 f-stop, and with a 2x you lose 2 stops. That means that the lens is now an f/8 or f/11 at 300mm. Not only is that very slow, but your camera will not autofocus at all or if it does autofocus it will do so very slowly. You're better off cropping or getting a longer lens.
