Is this a film or digital lens? Does it work with the current digital cameras?
You may want to check your pricing. Each of your lenses is running about $100 over KEH Cameras Excellent Condition lenses.
I have been using the Lowepro AW450 for a while, and fined it to be a great bag with the extra benefit of accessing not only the entire bag from the rear but also easy access to the main compartment from the top. They also offer an AW 350 which is smaller.
Sorry, the model I have is the Manfrotto 058B Aluminum not the 475B. The unit I have has a great leg extension system, three buttons located at the head used to extend and retract the first section of legs.
I agree with your original request. I use the Manfrotto 475B Pro Geared Tripod, which is heavy duty with a geared center column. This tripod is rock solid, but very heavy. It also has the capability with the center column raised to reach almost 8' high. This is the tripod that Karl Taylor uses. He does carry it into the field, but is to heavy for me to do that very far from my car.
I am interested in the 2x converter and the 380ex if they are still available
You might want to look at the early Nikor PC lens. I purchased a 35mm f2.8 for $280.00. and it works great on my canon cameras. It is a manual focus lens, but all the ts lenses are manual focus, even the new canon ones. This is a reasonable way to get the perspective correction without having to spend thousands. I also have a canon 24mm TS lens, which works better, but for the money the Nikor was a good way to get into PC lenses while saving thousands.
The other option you have with the harness is to connect one camera to both sides of the harness. You have the advantage of a sling, but it helps distribute the weight. The camera stay more stable, and does not swing. I use this technique with my 7d and 100-400L.
Manfrotto makes a unit which attaches to the window, and you can then attach a ball head to it.
The vistas on the BRP are amazing. They are ripe for Panos. If you have a Pano setup I would plan to take it with you. I was there a few years ago and ended up with some of my best Panos, due to the great views.
I'm sorry, but you are mistaken, I own a 28-80 mm L lens ( the mini drainpipe) , they were released in the late 1980's at the same time they released the 80-200, f2.8 L lens ( the magic drainpipe) these two lenses along with the canon 20-35mm 2.8 lens were the original ef holy trinity for canon. The were also arc focus not ultrasonic. They do not have full time manual focus, you have to switch between manual focus and auto focus. They other odd item for the 28-80 is that the manual focus is focus by wire and uses the motor to do the manual focusing. I actually own all three of these lenses.

The 28-80 L lens is one of the original ef lens from the 80's. It is variable 2.8-4f, but it has a very special look to the images.
