We moved from Lake Havasu last year. Those little quail were one of my favorite things, they are just so cute. I'd throw out food scraps and sometimes have about 20 enjoying their food. I love your photos.

We have a lot of those birds here in South Carolina. They look so pretty when they fly and the red really shows on their wings. Those are wonderful pictures

I've been to all of them and agree with others who suggest Bryce and the other Utah parks. You won't be disappointed

I have a Canon 20D with an 18-55mm lens. It's in the original box with all the manuals. I'd sell it for $50 plus whatever shipping is

These were taken by a friend after she put a small tree in her 1 year old grandson's bedroom. He was absolutely fascinated. love the last photo with his pudgy little hands. They were all taken with her cell phone.

That's a magnificent photo and I think that even the thumbnail isn't so bad

I think that the technology to do something like this is amazing. I'd love the photo except the water was the first thing that stuck out, too blue and too smooth for that kind of sky. I think your point was to show how you can change a sky and that you did beautifully.

I'm going to ask an embarrassingly stupid question but maybe their are other relative amateurs who would like an answer too. I find your photos so crisp, clear and the colors so sharp, they are just amazing. My question is.... is it photography settings or post processing that makes them such stand outs? Probably both but perhaps you could elaborate a bit. Can someone achieve those results with a more inexpensive camera?

I don't reply to many submissions but I have to comment on your birds, they are just fabulous. You have such colorful birds there and you photograph them so beautifully. Next best thing to going to an aviary to see them in person.

I have two cropped versions of the same photo here that I'm going to submit to a local camera club competition. I like the square format because of it's composition, but then I like the horizontal one because it draws more attention to the woman sitting in the window. Which do you like better and think the judges might score higher?

I am certainly far from an expert I just know when I like something. I LOVE the first one. The second one bothers me because you've chopped off the lovely top detail of the house and the top of the trees. I don't find that the face in the window draws me in that much, I just love the overall impact of the photo.

Please be kind and forgive me it this has already been posted here. I really enjoyed it and I keep chuckling about it, something I really need to do in this tough time.
I can really identify, especially when I try to capture a hawk taking off.
