A big atta boy Sarge. You got a bulls eye on this one.
I have the Sigma 18-250 on my 60D and outdoors it is a great lens, however when I shoot indoors at my grandsons hockey games it can be challenging. There is lots of noise and a lot of PP work later on. Such as noise removal, sharpening and adding 2-3 stops of exposure. When I put on my Canon kit lens (28-105) the difference is remarkable, very little PP. If I had to do it again I would have saved a little longer and got a better lens.
I am in need of a copy of Micro Soft Works (Database). I know it was on the Hog before but I was unable to find anything on a search. I have tried the other data bases but they are way to complicated. Works serves me perfectly. Thanks so much.
Can someone help. Please contact me at:

Perfect answer MWAC. We are all in the middle and just trying to learn. By the way, with that answer you should run for president.

Wow, how easy was that. I'm going to eat some smart pills.
Thanks MWAC
Hi MWAC,
Glad you are on here regularly. I'm having a dumb spell! I can't find anywhere to "subscribe" on the all sections page. Do I have to go to this page each time or how do I get it to come up automatically?
Thanks
In October we laid to rest one of our finest in Lower Burrell, Pa., Officer Derrick Kotecki. We feel the pain for this officers friends and family. Derricks funeral was attended by over 4000 officers from around the world and 3 cities streets were filled by the towns residents. It truely was the most awesome, incredible and amazing thing that I have ever seen in my life.
Thank you "Blue Line" and may God bless you!

Hey there SteveG, Don't give up, there are a bunch of great people on this site who are very helpful! Not everybody is like the Captain. I've been shooting since 1963 and I learn something new with every newsletter.
Tilde,
You just might be the perfect woman. Ian is so lucky! Keep it up!

It is a whitetailed buck with a palmated rack. This is an older deer and these types of antlers are not uncommon. In fact, many hunters would rather have these types of racks instead of asymetrical racks.
I was lucky enough to catch episode #1. He speaks in everyday language and makes it very easy to understand why he takes the photos the way he does. He explains how to set the camera and why he did it that way and what results you will get. Be sure to watch the out-takes at the end of the show.
