Ansel Adams was actively working with early digital cameras before he passed and loved the lack of physical tools he would have to used to do what software could and he loved it... Had the pleasure of sitting in on a lecture he gave, in 1969, at the Oakland Museum. It totally changed my attitude toward photography (kodak instamatics!) and set me on my course today...
The guides in Costa Rica, at all of the National Parks, are outstanding with phones and spotting monoculars. They got some distant sloths, all crystal clear. Pretty amazing.
My Peak Design sling has traveled all over the world and had never failed... I like the quick release system they use.

Just back from a month long adventure in Southern Africa! This one is from the Karongwe Private Reserve, South Africa
I use this lens with the Z6ii body and amongst our local Nikon Group, it is our go-to, basic travel lens and has not disappointed any of us. I just used it as a primary lens for everything urban, in Southern Africa with lots of success, from wide open to nearly all the way out. Great price and wonderful basic lens.
I own one and use it with my Z6ii...
I had a D90 for many years and primarily used for traveling. I ended up using just one lens most of the time. As stated above, Nikon makes a 18-300 DX lens and it isn't perfect, but it met my budget needs and tooks 100s of wonderful photos; no regrets, only memories...
