I just got my tax returns done and sent in. Yesterday, I paid H&R Block for their software, but it was worthless. It kept running me around in circles, and I got nowhere after a few frustrating hours. I've been using H&R for half a dozen years, but the 2020 version is horrible. Today, I found FreeTaxUSA and I got the Fed and State done, easily, step-by-step.

Fortunately, H&R offers a 60-day money-back guaranty, so I'll see if that's any better than their software.

I know - a lot of you are going to tell me how much you like H&R and how easy it is to use. Good for you!

Jerry you are 100% correct. I have had nothing but problems with H&R Block this year. Their support staff is useless if you can ever get to talk to somebody. I was on hold for 20 to 30 min only to get disconnected. Called back a second time waited another 20 min spoke to a person for 45 to 50 min and got disconnected for a second time. I figured she would call back WRONG. Three days later after I had filled a rather negative review of my experience I got a call back. I explained the error message to him and he had never heard of this problem. His explanation was I had a corrupted file and would have to do the entire return over. This would not have been a bid deal had it been a simple return, but it was not we had spent hours on the return.
I found it odd that he had never had this problem, when you can google it and the same error message is explained, but nothing that helped me.
We were lucky enough to have printed a copy of the return before we e-filed. This was the second return which we e-filed did not show up at IRS, so we just mailed the return.
I think I will be trying somethin different next year.

Thanks to all for your responses. The card in question was a Transcend not Transcent (typo).
I went ahead a purchased two new Scan disk cards. I have been using these two cards for six years without any problems. I guess I got my moneys worth out on them.
I have learned a lesson the hard way to set my camera so the second slot is a back up instead on overflow just in case this should happen again.
Hopefully this is only a card problem and not something with the camera.
It was kind of strange as I was taking the photos I couldn't review the photos but I kept shooting. I should have switched cards right away.
We were lucky to have a second photographer so we did get the needed photos.
Thanks again for your help. That's the great thing about this sight there are so many good people willing to share their wealth on information.

What would cause photos not to record on the memory card on my D7100. I am using a Transcent 90MB/s, class 10, 32 GB cards. Has the card failed or is there a camera issue. I switched cards and everything seamed to work fine. But I lost about 92 photos.

I will check out the two software programs mentioned and see if they can be found.
Thanks for your replies.

Camera does have two card slots. I switched cards to continue shooting for the rest of the game. None of the missing photos showed up on the second card.

While taking photos on senior night at a local high school football game , when reviewing the photos, in camera, I was having trouble finding the photos. I then replaced the card and continued shooting. After downloading the photos their were 92 photos missing on the first card. The downloaded photo numbers jumped from 6050 to 6151. My question is where did those 92 photos go and is there some way I can retrieve them? It appears as if the memory card malfunctioned.

You are correct I had ordered something from Amazon and I am a prime member. It was shipped from Hebron KY which is about a ten minute drive from my house in Edgewood Ky. Then proceeded to ship it to Indiana where it sat for five days then back to Cincinnati OH then back to Crescent Springs KY for delivery. It was only a week late.

Another time I ordered shoes from bass Pro. I followed the tracking and after ten days it said it had been delivered to our local post office. I went to the post office with the tracking number and they said they had not received it. I called bass pro they sent another pair by UPS. I received them in three days. About four week later my first pair showed up at my door. Then of course I had to go thru the hassle of returning them.

I agree USPS Sucks!!

Just got another reply from Shutterfly saying to upload in small batches or the system will crash. I just don't understand why I was able to upload 200 photos for four weeks without a problem. I guess it is something we have to accept.
Is there any other option out there other than Shutterlfy?

I just got another e-mail from Shutterfly today requesting information about my operating system. I gave them the information let's see if they can correct the problem.
I'll keep everyone up to date maybe it can help someone else having the same issues.

After hearing back from Shutterfly this seams to be a common problem. They suggest loading in small batches of 25 photos.
I just don't understand that for four weeks I loaded 200 photos all at once without any problems, it maybe took 15-20 min. Then it just stopped working. I guess it's something I'll have to live with.

I take photos for my grandsons high school football team. I may have as many as 350 -400 photos to upload to our Shutterfly sight for viewing. I cannot load all the photos to the sight at once. I have to break it down to 50 to 100 photos to get them uploaded which takes way too long. If I try to load all of them the sight will lock up. Does anyone else have this problem. For the first few weeks I was uploading about 200 photos without any problems, maybe 10 to 15 min to get done.
I am waiting to hear back from Shutterfly. I was just wondering if this is a common problem with Shutterfly.

I do have the 55-300 lens, would I be better off using that and cropping for wildlife, or the teleconvertor?
