There is a reason why almost no web developers use IE. It uses its own series of extensions which are not supported by any other browser and is usually behind the technology curve in terms of adoption of universal standards. From a high of 95% penetration, as of March 2016, only 12% of browser usage is any release of IE (Chrome is over 60%). IE is also notorious for users not updating to the latest browser version and therefore older versions no longer being supported by web developers.

The technology and code of the web is constantly improving. Older browsers often often can't render a page correctly. IE is itself being replaced by Microsoft Edge going forward.

I switched to Capture One. It is the bomb. Love it.

I have that combo (5D mk III and 7D mk II) and have no envy of anyone else. Really great combination.

I can't imagine wanting to shoot sports with a 6D. I tried. The number and quality of the focus points is just way too limiting. Too many soft shots when the subject isn't in the center of the frame. The 6D is a good though limited camera. Fine for landscapes but not the camera I want to have in my hand with any kind of spontaneous movement.

7D Mk II coupled with the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II is a killer combo. I have been taking soccer and cross country all fall with this combo and it is simply amazing. Although it is expensive, I am really happy I spent the money on the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II.

I sold my 6D for a MK III a while back because of the focussing capabilities of the 6D vs. MK III. The 6D is a pretty good sensor but a much more limited camera. I found it really compromised for a lot of shots. I am really glad that I sucked it up and invested the extra money in the MK III.

A lot of professional sports photographers just shoot their images in JPG. They shoot so many that they don't want to deal with a lot of post. They only crop them. So yes.

I don't because the lighting conditions where I am shooting can be very different at one end of a field from the other. So I want the flexibility that RAW gives me to deal with shadows and bright spots. More work, but for me better results.

I shoot a lot of high school sports. Soccer is amazingly quick. You need a really high shutter speed to maximize your good pictures. Experiment with taking your shutter speed over 1/1000th of a second (I wouldn't think of shooting soccer at less than 1/500th unless I am trying to introduce blur into the ball). At that speed the players are uniformly crisp and the ball generally is too. You also have to accept that with the amount of players weaving in and out, that your autofocus is going to focus on the wrong thing from time to time. In order to minimize that, you have to be willing to use your legs to get good shooting lanes.

And no matter what lens you use, you have to be willing to crop and crop in post. I typically crop down so that the there is a foot(head size) of space above the head of the subject player/action and a foot of space below the players feet (assuming that everything made it into the shot).

Finally, shoot a lot. I shoot around 500 shots a game (I use a 7D MII so you can shoot a lot in a hurry). Probably 2/3 are technically usable (in focus, in frame, no refs in the way etc.) and about 10-15% are special enough that I want other people to see them.

As you might suppose....I leaned this the hard way.
Sorry I forgot to mention it up front.
Success. Thank you. Its funny, I couldn't open it Acrobat Pro, just in Acrobat Reader. Very weird.

I've heard pretty serious rumors that the Lily pre-order is a major scam and that there is a high likelihood that it will never be produced. Neat video on it however... :|

Seems unlikely. It was started by two guys with a good reputation from Cal Berkley. They have raised $1 million of angel money from significant investors. They have been written up in Forbes among everywhere else. Anything is possible but they have been doing live demos it to various news organizations.

I have flown a Phantom for two years. It is great and takes stunning video. However, they take a pretty big learning curve to fly well. I have two significant crashes, one that required a new camera/gimbal and another a flyaway that resulted in a lost Phantom in a lake. These aren't toys and even good pilots have problems.

However, the landscape is changing pretty quickly. The new wave is quadcopters that have increasing robotics technology integrated. That allows greater focus on shooting and less on flying. I have pre-orders in on three different quadcopter that are exploiting this technology. Each has different strengths. Buying them in preorder can save a lot of money.

The CyPhy LVL 1 Drone is made by some of the team that started iRobot. They also make military grade drones. It is a novel approach (6 canted motors) that allows it to fly flat. It is $5-$600 on preorder (it will retail for $1000?). https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1719668770/cyphy-lvl-1-drone-reinvented-for-performance-and-c

The Zano is a very small copter made in England. It has really good sensors and can do a lot of things with greater safety and ease of use. Much cheaper than others because it is lighter and smaller. http://www.flyzano.com " rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> http://www.flyzano.com Around $275 preorder.

And finally the Lily. This is optimized to follow you by being tied to a wearable control unit. It is going to be really good for following or preceding a boat, kayak, bike, skier etc. It is waterproof and seems to be relatively foolproof. Around $500 in preorder. https://www.lily.camera" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> https://www.lily.camera

No doubt there are others coming out in different price points and capabilities. My basic point is that unless you want to devote a fair amount of time to mastering flying one of these things, the next generation are going to be using increasing amounts of robotic technology to make them easier and much safer to fly. These are really fun and give great results but when things go wrong they can be heart stopping. Even though I use a Phantom, I have a pre-order in on each of the above because they will allow me to do things that I can't or would take unbelievable skill to do with the Phantom.

It works great like all of the Peak design stuff. Quality gear. Hard to imagine how you would not have positive capture given that it clicks pretty securely onto a normal plate.

I downloaded it yesterday. It worked fine. The issue I have is I downloaded a demo. And the demo doesn't allow you to save an image. Therefor there is no way to run A/B tests with other software that I have to see how it compares. Crazy way to allow people to test software.
