Not counting the cost of the printer the cost per print 4-6 is about $0.15.
660 prints for $100 on sale at Foto Club inc
I have a HITi 510S that print 4-6,5-7,6-9. It is the best thing I ever bought. Pricy to start but more than made up for with the quality speed and reliability. I did an event where I did 185 pictures at the event printed them, put in frames and handed the pictures to the guests in less than 5 min. I regularly print to confirm how a picture looks just because it is cheap and fast. C
The Midway in San Diego has made a profit maker since the day it opened. Don't know about the others. The Sara raised several million to become a museum and that was not enough. The ship has to be just off duty and intact to convert profitably. Before being gutted. That is why the John F Kennedy was chosen. C
I remember that trip also, 1956. At the time you could hear and see the shooting from the hills where Castro was getting close to Havana. We did not get our normal Havana liberty because of the fighting. C
I am a plank owner Marine Detachment, on the USS Saratoga CVA-60 and it was just towed to the same place a month ago for scrap. It was sold for $1.00 like CVA 59. The sara was going to be a museum but the JFK beat us out. I wonder why? Chuck USMC
MOEUSMC is my handle here. Mostly just read and learn. 1955 to 1960. Sgt. Embassy Marine and now have a few friends in harms way. 5 best years of my long life. C
The unit that goes in the camera replaces the battery and looks like a battery so I called it that but it is just an AC converter DC to run the camera. This printer does not do 8-10. Some more expensive ones do. Google dye sublimation printers.
Yes, I do it in Photo Shop as I also put the logo of the group I am doing on the bottom of each picture. I also use an AC battery pack so I don't have to change the battery while shooting for a long period. I am buy no means an expert at this and have just started myself. Long learning curve to get the bugs out. C
I have a HITI 510 that does just that. $850. uses 4-6,5-7 , 0r 6-9 material. Works great and fast. 660 4-6 pictures for $100. Price about the same from several places. Chuck
SF Cable has long usb cables with repeaters. I have a 30' one and it works great. Canon and Mac have EOS capable that lets you use your laptop to operate the camera from the Mac. You see everything on the laptop that you see to take pictures. Great when using a tripod. I found that when I press the camera button I move slightly and some pictures are not clear. Shooting from the mac eliminates this. Canon also has an AC adapter you can plug in to the camera and take pictures all day without changing batteries. WIFI chips also work but are a little slow. C
