I'm thinking of buying an R7. My long lens is the Sigma 60-600 Sport, I'm wondering if anyone on the forum uses this combo, and how well it works. Also, does the eye detection autofocus still work with 3rd party lenses?
Thanks.

Take a look at Endless Slideshow. There is a free version and a very cheap priced version.

Looking for a slide show app to use on an iPad.

I see quite a few in the App Storeā€¦.looking for a suggestion.

It would run unattended in a display case at a family business.

I want to have an album with the photos,
and be able to select the amount of time the slides are displayed (15, 30, etc seconds for all slides)
The order they are shown (in order or random)
It should be able to repeat the set of photos indefinitely, or have a schedule on a daily basis.

Another nice to have option would be have it able to select which album (s) to display.
Is there a free one?

Take a look at Endless Slideshow. It has all the features you mention. There is a free version, but the paid version is very cheap and good for 3 devices I think. I currently have 2 running 24/7 with over 14,000 photos on each. At 15 seconds each I think it takes about 60 hours to get through them all. I run mine from laptops to 42" TV monitors but they still display on the laptops.

I'd be willing to go back and do it again.

Many nice shots! I've been blessed to have done hundreds of dives in this area. But only memories as I just wanted to be one with the environment. Thanks for refreshing those memories!

Thanks Nigel,

This is about the same temps we have in N. California. Which is also why I haven't dove here in many years. Are you in a drysuit?

Hi Chowe,

Sea Temp at this time of year is 13/14c that's as warm as it gets. Will be down to about 8/9c in March, April time.

Have added another photos of squat lobster for you along with some lions mane jelly fish and a sea squirt.

Hi Nigel,

Would love to see a squat lobster. What water temps are you dealing with in Scottland?

Very nice. I'm moving back there on the 20th. I've really missed being able to dive there whenever I felt like it.

My wife and I did a shark dive in Roatan 2012 and this was the best shot of the dive. I played with it a little in Lightroom to adjust the color just a bit.

Nice shot. By the way, I got my wife certified in Roatan, but I had to tell her there were no sharks in Roatan, so don't tell her.

On a whim (and for a good price) I recently purchased a Nikon 1 J4 and the associated Nikon underwater housing. It seems clear that the J4's flash will be partially blocked by the housing, but I'm wondering if it can be used to trigger a Nikonos 105 Underwater Speedlight as a slave unit. I've done a little underwater photography with an underwater P&S, but I'd like to try something a bit more advanced.

I do mostly snorkeling (including at night) in the Carribbean.

Wasn't familiar with this so I looked it up. This was in the product discription.

The light from the camera's built-in flash is blocked by the housing, but it can still be used to trigger 1 or 2 optional SB-N10 Underwater Speedlight flash units when these are connected to the housing's fiber-optic ports via cables, which are available separately. A built-in cold shoe mount located on top of the housing permits the attachment of optional accessories, such as lighting arms.
