So many good ones. Give some thought that if you may upgrade to a full frame that you consider buying a DX lens now. It Will be fine now on D90 and set you up for savings down the road. I still have a D90 with the two lenses you mentioned and the took a lot of wonderful pictures. Upgraded to 610, only because I could, and had bought some DX glass. But the fastest, best glass you can. Consider used on eBay or adorama. I have done well at both.

Blood suckers. If I were you I would contact nikon and see if you too can get a new 610 in exchange. Then thank a blood sucker that paved the way. I am just saying I have a new 610 in my hands today. Get over your bitterness too

But then I'd have the expense of buying guns. Of course, first I would have to find a good gun forum and get advice on what to buy and what to avoid. Once I got started with firearms, the expense would eat into my photography expenditures, and I'd have to make a tough choice about how I wanted to shoot. I'll stick with my sledgehammer. :D

Here's the link to the full article.

Please any suggestions for night time photography in Rome? Where to be, best time with the least people? I would like to get a good night time photos of the Colosseum, the Pantheon Trevi Fountain and dome at St. Peters.

Thanks for your help.

Loved Rome. I found by using my telephoto from a distance I could get shots without people. The one shot you don't want to miss is a photo of the pizza sold all over place, just before you eat it. The pizza photos are just plain better in Rome. Especially the crust. They sell it by weight and is also usually square.

PhotoGenesis! Please .....let me be first on the list! How much do you want for it?

Mine is an AF-S model and has the Silent wave motor and I believe this is what you need if your camera doesn't have a motor.

What is the difference between a Nikon 10-24mm
AF-S Nikkor f/3.5-4.5G DX ED and a Tamron SP AF 10-24 mm f/3.5-4.5 Di - II LD aspherical (IF) lens for Nikon other than price?
Would I regret buying the Tamron?

I have the nikon 10-24 to sell as I have now bought an fx camera. Plan to list it on EBay soon.

One of the scariest aspects of this far right turn of conservatives is the unspoken yet very obvious desire for Theocracy.

I have asked God to govern my life. Not the country's or anyone that doesn't willingly choose this path.

I really don't understand how a Christian following Jesus' path of loving God and love one another could be scary.

It does get scary when Christians veer off the path of Jesus into religion, dogma and doctrine.
