For sale a pretty much like new Sony SEL70200G FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS Lens, purchased during my international travels about 4 month ago, so it is
a import from Japan. I shot 2 pictures with it, thought I would use it more but I sure don't, too much money to just sit in box. The front hood is still in the wrapper never even unpacked, comes in original box with all accessories and manual, also not even looked at. Anybody looking at this lens knows his cost, I like to get $999.00 for it with free shipping to lower 48 states, priority mail, if you like to insure it add $15.00.
Since it was mounted only once, of course ZERO signs of use!
Payment with PayPal only, I can send PayPal invoice if needed.
Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me

Want to buy one of these, trying to find some reviews between the two, can't make up my mind and trying to figure out the difference between the two. Need a "run around" camera where I don't have to change lenses.

I jumped from Canon to Sony mirrorless, a few months back, and just love this camera, lighter smaller faster, actually better pictures, but go for the A7II very minimum, primarily for the 5 axis image stabilization which the A7 does not have. I never looked back!

Now I am confused... and I mean no disrespect... but if you knew in advance what you were getting yourself into buying the A7II, then you knew there were relatively few native lenses in the FE mount format. So having to buy 3rd party lenses to stay light and small should have been expected.

No it's fine, I am more of a impulse buyer (in the camera world), I find something, I like, I buy it, if it works I keep it if not I sell it and move on to the next, this goes back quite a few years, started with Nikon, did not like feel and programming, ditched went to Olympus, I really liked the OMD EM1, but is APS, got to Canon which I liked way better than Nikon but cost and size of the L lenses is up there, crossed path with the A7 liked the specs and size, purchased the A7II without really looking into the lens availability, however was blown away with the picture quality, without doing much of fiddling with the settings, by now I have a few Zeiss lenses and most likely stick with it, quality and equipment size is exactly what I always wanted, was just a little confused in the beginning with the lens scenario, well, its taken care of by now.

Some of the best FF wide angles useable on the the A7 will be manual focus and aperture.

I know what Sony had in mind, does not mean I have to like it, I owned many "L" lenses from Canon and Nikon, so you have already 2 adapters to deal with, something else who can break and get lost, then compare to the Zeiss lenses I ended up buying the mostly Canon I own are huge and much heavier, my main purpose to buy the A7 was to reduce size and weight and still be able to stay full frame with very high picture quality.
I finally found all the lenses I wanted, but it was not as simple as the lens selections you have available form let say Canon and Nikon.

Thats what I don't want, adapters, not a big fan of adapters.
Found some Zeiss full frame lenses in the meantime, got the first one yesterday, was worth the wait and added research.

I am looking for a wide angle lens, landscape photography, no set budget.
I can find lenses but keep finding the APS optimized lenses, not really optimized for full frame, Sony does a piss poor job in advertising there A7
line of lenses, it's quite confusing, then add the third party manufacturers to it and its a jungle out there.
The A7II is so good that I ditched all my Canon gear to buy lenses for the A7, so I still look for a wide angle, I like to explore all lens manufacturers who have full frame optimized lenses, I find lenses but nobody seems to clearly specify what their lenses made for, APS or full frame.
I have to believe I am not the only owner of a A7II who has this issue, so please can somebody help me out here?

Just sold my 5D and have this lens left over from all my L lenses.
Lens in pristine condition, no blemishes whatsoever.
Not used much at all see pics, asking $1,650.00 which is between what it is worth and what I can get on Ebay for this lens.
Either way a fair deal, I did loose the box, recently moved, it's somewhere in one of the boxes, however right now I cannot find it, if found I will ship to whoever buy's this lens.
Shipping is included in price, paypal or Chase Quick Pay only!
Just sold my 5D and have this lens left over from ... (show quote)

Did not get much of a response, so I lower the asking price to $1,550.00 that's what I would get at ebay after final value fee.
