Am looking for an original bag for a Sirui P-324/424 Monopod. Zippered bag is approximately 26" in length and fits the monopod with the Sirui monopod head in it's 90 degree position.

I am currently designing a system with the hopes of a 7-to-10-year life. I came across Puget Systems and I am impressed with their comprehensive writeup on the subject - "Hardware Recommendations for Adobe Photoshop | Puget Systems" [link did not copy]. I searched UHH and found some dated references, all good. Anyone purchased or worked with Puget Systems in the last 5 years?

I researched them when I was looking late last year, but ultimately went with Digital Storm primarily because of the cost. I have a liquid cooled system with a 2TB SSD main and a 4TB regular for storage and the system operates flawlessly. Saved me several thousand dollars for the comparable one at Puget Systems.

If you use Gmail and you lose the ability to send email because of an update, it means that Google and Gmail have changed the security for the new system. To correct, for Gmail only as far as I know:
1. Go to settings/Accounts and Imports
2. Choose Other Google Account Settings
3. Go to Security recommendation
4. Change the setting to allow 3rd party access.
This is what works for me and I have to do this each time there is a change in LR and it seems like periodically Google will change back to the more secure situation of not allowing 3rd party access. Anyhow, this is on my PC.
Hope this helps.

I have a Tamron SP 15-30 2.8 Di VC USD Nikon mount lens for sale. This lens is in as new condition only used 3 times. I am asking $700.00 for this and I will consider all offers. I can post pictures if needed. This is a super sharp high quality professional lens. Thanks for looking.

Is this lens still for sale? I don't see where it was sold.

Wallen is correct. I have used a D610 for the last 3 years and t6hat is the only adjustment available-from full to crop.

Well, it has finally happened. While I have heard of card failures, and have accepted that it would likely happen to me eventually, I’m not sure that I truly believed it would, but it has. Fortunately, I caught the issue early in the shoot, and have dual card slots, but my backup is JPEG, so it would be great to be able to recover the raw files. So, my question is, does anyone know of any options I might try to recover the data? I searched the archives and didn’t see anything recently on this, so I’m hopeful there may be an option. Thanks!

I found that RemoRecover found more lost files easier than even Lexar or Seagate recovery tools.

In all the shooting I have done, and I do a ton of Wild Horses, have I ever considered using any other lens than the 80-400mm. An excellent lens that will focus as fast as those wild ponies can move. Newer version's focus is a little better than the older one. I use mine with a D610 and won't part with this gem!

So I put it on yesterday because it was really bright sun. There was not a lot of fall colr but the sky was really blue. Anyway when I went to put stuff back in the bag the polarizer would not unsrew. Got home and tried some warm water, hot water, and then tried putting in the refrigerator, then even the freezer. No go. It went on easy and did not tighten hard. It is a Hoya NXT plus.
Any ideas?

Press straight down on the filter with your palm and twist at the same time. This generally works to align the threads and facilitate the removal.
