Like new, Canon EF-S 18-55 f/4-5.6 IS STM separated from new Canon SL2 kit. Since this lens was separated from the kit it only comes with the front and rear original Canon lens caps, no box. $75

Mine is the Canon 18-135. When I am traveling, especially, it provides the width for most landscape and enough reach for most distant shots without having to take the time and risking missing the shot to change the lens. Of course, I have several other lenses for specific situations, including primes, macros, a 10-22 for gathering a wide view and a 150-600 Sigma for distant reach.

I use the same lens as you do for the same reasons. I also carry, if I want to take a bag, the 10-18, 55-250, and the 24 2.8 pancake. This covers me in virtually all situations. The 18-135 is a great lens to just throw over your shoulder as you "walk around" capturing a nice variety of subject matter. The "walk around" aspect means no changing, using one lens as a do it all.

I used to shoot with a Nikon D7000 about 5 years ago and when the micro four thirds cameras started to become popular and I wanted something smaller and lighter, went that route. I became intrigued when the Canon SL2 came out being touted as one of if not the smallest and lightest DSLRs. I went to B&H to take a look at it and as soon as I had it in my hand, I knew that this was for me. I also liked the user interface, that it had dual pixel autofocus, and the menu system, really straightforward and easy to use. The fact that this camera was aimed at attracting beginners to photography or those wanting to upgrade to something more than their cell phone's camera didn't concern me. I purchased the SL2 with an 18-135mm 3.5-5.6 STM (fast and quiet focusing), a 55-250mm 4-5.6 STM, and pancake 24 2.8 STM, all for less than $1000. The camera and 24mm were bought new and the 18-135 and 55-250 bought in like new condition. The 55-250 Canon refurbished came in an unopened box with a one year Canon warranty. I couldn't be more happy with the Canon SL2, a small, lightweight, full featured DSLR. The choice between Canon and Nikon should come down to how they feel in the hand and how comfortable you are with the menu system and UI. Either camera system will get the job done.

Back in the day when I did wedding photography, I used a Kowa Super 66 with a built in dark slide. The problem with this all mechanical camera with no meter was, if it malfunctioned, it would still click away but there was nothing recorded on the film.

Are their lens hoods specially designed for the camera your using. The reason i ask is, when i'm shooting with my 24-105, when i have it opened at the largest aperture the lens hood appears in the corners of the image.

Perhaps you are using the wrong hood for that lens? Is your hood OEM branded for the 24-105 or is it an aftermarket hood? The correct hood should not affect the final image and certainly should not be part of it.

I have the screw on vented metal hood with my M4+50/2 Summicron. Having vents, I believe improves the view when looking through the viewfinder. This is an explanation I found, (Some hoods are for rangefinder cameras, where viewfinder windows look out from the top part of the camera body. A solid lens hood would partly block the viewfinder image, but one with "vent" holes cut out reduces this obscuring effect.)

You can't go wrong with a Hoya MC UV. I have 58mm one I got for free from a friend and use it on my Canon 55-250. It is only $16.90 at B&H. Check out the excellent B&H customer reviews.

I recently purchased an 18-135 for my Canon SL2. This is a very versatile lens when on a Nikon, Canon or other camera.

Like new, pristine Lumix G7 micro four thirds mirrorless camera. In the original box you will find the G7 body, a body cap, hot shoe cover, Lumix battery and Lumix charger plus one extra Watson battery. Also, a USB connection cable, DVD software, and an the G7 manual. The camera came as a kit with the Lumix 14-140 f/3.5-5.6 lens. The lens was sold separately, so it is not included in the box. The camera is a U.S.A. model purchased at B&H. PayPal fee is included and free 2-3 Day USPS Priority Mail. Only 4363 shutter clicks.

This is a tremendous value for what you get. The Camera was Sold.

At $375, this is the best deal in town:)
