The Patek is a great watch. However, IMHO most people wouldn't recognize it as an ultra-high priced watch.
For that you can go to the "Aeternitas Mega4" by Franck Muller who's known as the "King of Complications"
It comes in at a cool $2.5 million.

As for me, I don't need no stinkin watch! My wonderfull wife takes it's place. Right now It's "time to light the grill" 0'clock here.

Given that this site has helped me greatly in the past, I wanted to try this question.
I've loved watches since I was a kid 70 years ago. The one I would love to own but just cannot justify $20,000 or more is a Rolex.
Lately, there have been 'SuperClones' that are so good even some jewelers can't tell them apart. However, the problem is that probably well over 90% of the sites you see on line are a scam.
Does anyone know of a site that actually will sell and ship you a super clone?
Thanks,
Ron

If you just want a watch to flash around in order to impress folks then do it right with a Patek Philippe Grand. Have you shopped at Amazon for used watches? Yep, they got em!

What god would condone countries warring in his name sake? Wasn't the "League of Nations" established for that reason?

I am going to visit family in Illinois, Pontiac area, next month. I live in Denver and am planning on driving out through Kansas on I70. Does anyone have any suggestions on places to do some landscape or wildlife photography?
I’m also going up 55 in Illinois. Would welcome suggestions for that drive also.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
Have a great day!

I grew up on a farm just a few miles north of Pontiac. Hate to say it, but road kill is about the only critters you'll see near there. (be on the look-out for deer crossing the roads at night). Old US route 66 used to pass through there and that's about it's only note worthy claim to fame.

I just purchased a Nikon D500 camera from KEH camera that looks like new. A friend recommended this camera and KEH. I want to get a back up battery. Any recommendations for off brand batteries, other than Nikon or should I stay with the Nikon battery?? Thank you.

I always go with the brand names for everything. "Peace of mind" being the reason why. You could always buy one of each and compare.

We’ve been on both train rides that Fredpnm mention and would recommend either or both. Appropriate clothing for the locale and sufficient batteries, and memory cards for digital, or plenty of film if you’re still shooting that way, or both if you’re shooting both!! Can’t think of anything else that would really be needed.
Larry

Thank you for that info.

Thinking about going for a ride on a narrow gauge train in Durango, Colorado in late May. Wondering if anyone here has "been there done that" ? Any do's or don'ts advice would be much appreciated!

A few questions,, For starters, what is a Canon EOSRP? Next, Do you have an editing software program such as lightroom or photoshop elements to edit your pictures? I suggest you spend more time learning how the aperature, shutter speed and ISO triangle all come into play. That knowledge will enable you to answer all of your own questions.
