Has it occurred to either of you that you are looking at a shadow, not a defect that needs to be fixed? The mountain is not cone shaped and the light is coming from behind it.

Yes I explained that in detail. the light the sun the shadow, everything thanks though. ;-)

Nice shot but that dark spot on that mountain is killing it. I would like to see the colour version because of the water, the foreground and the mountains.

8-) Thank goodness.
I am not glad the spot is there but I was beginning to think I had lost my mind. or was stretching just to find something to critique.
That's an easy fix and nobody is going to blow it up to look at the edges of everything for the slightest little fringe or something. except us. :P
Because were picky people that choose peter pan peanut butter. :-o I like Crunchy style. ((:?,) mmmmm ;-)

I think I need a Viewmaster to see these kind of pics. I've never been able to make it work :(

These photos can be formatted for use with either the View Master or the antique viewing device.

However, the viewing device for example, the photos would have to be switched from right to left.

As this is what the device does for us because there was a time we thought we had to cross our eyes far enough to look stupid for it to work.
After we realized we do not need to cross our eyeballs no more then we need to in order to see our own elbow in focus.
We decided the 85 bucks for the device and the money to have the cards printed was just not worth it when we can view them like this for free. ;)
so. take two photos, about 4 inches apart then switch the left photo to the right side. I got a feeling you can see your way through. If you move LEFT each time you can see the effect in the thumbnails right on the back of the DSLR camera. :-P but any camera or camera phone will do.

Pictx . . . you've done it again!!! SUPERIOR photo!! The second set of photos, the one with the open center line is the best I think, but it did take a few seconds more to get the 3D focus. I also like the "for erv!" wording that really floats out to me as I see the 3D photo in the center!! I didn't think the dots did anything for me although I did see all three dots lined up across the photos. SUPERIOR!!!
Is it ok if I copy and share some of your photos with family and friends? I'll give you full and unequivocal credit!!!
Great job again. Thanks for all of your 3d's!!
Dave
Pictx . . . you've done it again!!! SUPERIOR photo... (show quote)

Absolutely.
I have in my phone a file containing only my public 3D photos so when I hand the phone to a friend 1st they will only see the photos in that file because it ends with about 30.

2nd, the look in there eyes and the smile on there face each time they swipe to the next photo is very special. I would recommend it to anyone.

I use them to make slideshow videos because I don't like the blue screen on my PC while listening to music.

"No reason to avoid critique if you ever want to participate."

My other thread got a bit lost so I start this one as a place for people who wish to provide their opinions on the Photo Critique and Analysis Forum.

I will stay right out of it.

Dude I think your onto something man.

I got the two mixed up I posted in but it the same result. a lot of patting on the back no real help sorry selmslie

The virtual thumbs up are "Geared toward" the elder looking gentleman. I would say one is heavily critiqued the other tip toed around.

I'm going to try to step way back away from this now, it is not in my best interest to go back there.

It will be different in my new 3D forum :-D

Just keep in mind that you may only post a single image (or a color and B&W of the same image).

If you post an image you are asking for a critique. If you critique someone else's image, explain your reasoning.

I'll keep in mind that all general (off topic) discussion and pats on the back will be remove also.

Mean while, when I become a photographer later, my shit work/learning/mistakes is still readily available and free for public display with one Google search of my name even after I'm dead? :-o Try it, one word, "Pictxterowner" 8-)

I'm still testing/fine tuning my Water Droplet shots.

I wear a Fedora, more when I was younger.
I introduce myself now without! the hat.

The other way around now days they feel I wear the hat to hide something.
Therefore better they see I am a Bald Eagle right away, then the hat is just a hat.

This is my Spice Girl. She modeled for me in my introductory topic. Has for a long time.

She wore my grey hat then, my black hat many times.
This time she wanted a Corona Hat.

Just like the others, Spice girl gets what Spice girl want's. ;-)

There will be 11 photos, my service is slow at best, you made need to return in an hour.
