I totally agree with your son. Wish they would find a different name for "gaming computers" because they are exactly what a photo/video editor needs.

Hey folks, like many I have been a lurker on HH for a long time and none of it wasted ... thanks to all HHs out there.
I read this whole post several times to try and gain a feeling for what was wanted.
The building seems important relative to the majestic scenery, so I tried a little bit of fun.

Hey folks ... I have been an observer (stalker) on this site for a long time.
This is moving to me because I believe that (most of these folks) are serving their country in the best way they have to offer.
If this is real, and the singers are real, then I say thank you.

I think this is kind of like the age old Nikon vrs. Canon. They are both great. Make them work for you.

I stand by my comments that that you need a different tech.
BUT to imply that you should know more about computers (or that a tech should know more about photography) is assholism.
My comments refer to the fact that your paid tech didn't know you had two drives ... well that speaks for itself.
You are a photographer. You should be pure and know everything about photography, (according to cthahn, who stated if you cannot take a picture of what you see then you are not a photographer)
Might I state that if I were cthahn , I wouldn't be on here because it would be below my pay grade.
I tuned out of UH because of the "cthahn's" of the world. I come back and they are worse than ever.
Can the moderators do nothing about this?

Get a new tech. That should not have happened and he/she should have confirmed all was working.
