From my morning walk.
This lens always seems to lack sharpness.
It might be time to retire it.

Morning BJ, really?
A morning BJ has a whole different meaning at my house.
The pictures are of a Blue Jay, BJ is just an abbreviation.
The last image is, to me, by far the best. Much more natural.
Thank you, Every picture I shot today had that reddish tint except that one.
I'm not sure what cause it.

I knew that this was coming when I saw the title of the post.
Could be 'cause I'm old, but the bird, especially under the beak, and the bark on the tree, look acceptably sharp to me.
Question, though. Did I miss something? Your "reddish tint" response to kpmac seems to imply these are separate images. Apart from color balance and cropping, they look identical to me right down to the little image flaws just left of the bird's breast. Other than that, I might bring up the shadows and suppress the highlights just a little if you can.
Thank you for your input. They are all crops of the same image. The last image I removed the Tint. I took about a dozen shots before he flew away. All are tinted red. I Think the reddish tint was a failure of my Auto White balance.
Beautiful, polonois! I like the last one best!
