What a different World that was, and is still today. I am 36 yrs old, I didnt live that time period but so intreged by it. I look at those photos and see and think What would it have been it slavery did take place in our history, Would the Pope join in on the Apaches Pow Wows? What if Time square never got as busy and crazy as its today. thanks for the link its been a Aha moment for me.

Very Nice Photos, If you are looking for advise, the top one is beautiful, attempt not to cut off more of the top if possible. I see a lot of photos where the legs or the arms, shoulders are so cut off. its bad taste but there are rules to this, if you follow the thirds rule. but very nice my advise to the first photo if you ever have a chance to do a shoulder tattoo i would use a small light at an angle just to highlight it without exposing it on to the subject.I know for sure that all of the photos and subjects are stunning.

Anyone here have an interest in Cemetery Photography, if so feel free to post

I've taken a fair number of shots in some of the old cemeteries around here. I'm always reminded of how bad the 'old days' were in reality, by the number of headstones for kids. I saw one stone at an old Presbyterian church that listed the eight children of one couple and seven of them died before they were thirty.

Hello some of these photos are great. I visited one of my local cemetery's and was informed that i needed a permit (Free) to photography the tombstones, the main rule was not to photography the names of the deceased. the cemetery and I would end up in lawsuits from any family member if the images ended up in public, am sure you know this. Keep up the good work.. I enjoy visiting cemetery for the peace that's in them. contras to what people say or feel. the deceased have gone to the good lord of the heavens. Am sure you have some interesting stories too. great Job.

Thank you. The Moon wasn't my focus. if you play around with the depth of field and a long exposure you'll get the results you are looking for.

I wouldn't crop, there is detail in the photo that explains the Mood what I like to do is use different lights to enhance key features on my subject try even using a flash light to focus on a certain spot like the cross necklace she's wearing. Well I would cover a major part of the flash using tape using it like a hood, to be able to focus on certain objects now if money is not a problem than feel free to get different light sources. they come in handy. What I've observed with different Photographers even Pros, they break the rules and end up with amazing outputs. Yes we have to follow the guide lines of light comp, etc those are a given. its the EYE that makes the difference, You you got the EYE!!! Love the pic with the post.

Very Nice, just remember to re-visit the same places at different time of the day. You will be amazed on how light or the time of the setting sun changes the same photo you have taken a few minutes or hours before. Keep it up, we only get better. Welcome.
