Is there anyone like I can show a few of my pictures to and maybe they can tell what they think?

Hi Karen, I'd love to see your pictures. I've been a photographer for 20 years. I'm brutally honest, is that ok???

Nice to be of service

James, all of us newbies would like a little feedback on our photos. How would we send you a few to look at?

I have seen some pics posted here but I just joined this evenin' so I don't know how to tell you to put them up here, but most photographers love seeing pics people have taken and are usually pretty good about giving advice and constructive criticism..

nice shot Henry..macro shots are somethin' that is very exciting and very frustrating at the same time..I am not at all familiar with your camera, but I would suggest a little different composition for this pic and a tighter crop if you can and concentrate on the fly itself more..try putting the subject with "room to move" in the direction it is facing ..in other words..more room in front of the subject and less behind it..not centered is normally what is most appealing

ah the 2nd pic does exactly what I was talkin' about on the first one..you have "room" for the eagle to look into in the direction he is looking..great shot ..you managed to get the "zoo feel" out of the pic

you can re-crop your photos after the fact with a computer and photography editing software, such as Photoshop.
