No. Duracell alkaline. A warning comes with the unit advising against Lithium Ion.

I just opened my YN565EX, installed batteries, took a few flashes and turned it off. I returned later to find the unit warm and the batteries hot and exausted. What goes??

Rotating main control has no effect on aperture or shutter speed. Camera malfunction??? Always shows 2000th at wide open. Pics look OK but I don't necessarily want 2000th. I would prefer smaller aperture sometimes.

I seem to do better in A or M. However I cannot change settings in P with the command dial. I'll keep trying.

It seems that when I snap a photo, on Program, it always shows the maximum lens opening and 1/2000 shutter speed. I use 400 ISO. Is this normal?

Is converting a Leica R 50mm f2 to a Nikon mount worthwhile?? I know it will not AF, no problem. Will it meter and set aperture??
