Is converting a Leica R 50mm f2 to a Nikon mount worthwhile?? I know it will not AF, no problem. Will it meter and set aperture??

I would certainly do it. I have a wonderful Mamiya Sekor 55mm lens. I remember the quality results I got back in the film days, so I purchased a M42 screw mount for my Canon. I think a Leica would be well worth the conversion.
