excellent ....beautifully displayed
I like both of them but #1 is outstanding. The color really pop. excellent composition
Just trying to sharpen my processing skills. I hope you like it
Thanks for your quick reply. I do like the first convert ot b/w etc.It is just that in all the tutorials I have seen they talk about IR processing to maintain a blue sky and much more glow and pop. Perhaps I am looking for something that just isn't.
congrats on what appears to be a successful procedure. One of the best medicines is staying positive and you seem to be doing just that.
I have been interested in IR photography for a while but find most of the tutorials a little difficult to understand. The 2 photos enclosed are shot with a tripod @ f8 100 ISO 1st photo @ 10 sec and 2nd photo @ 20sec using a 720nm IR filter. I think the photography part is right but the processing I'm almost helpless. I use PS Element 8 regular version and the tutorials keep talking about a channel mixer. I believe this is only available with Element Premier. With all the talent out there can someone or all of you process these 2 photos so I can see if what I have done to date is acceptable to this point. Thanks for any help you can give.
10 sec f8 100 ISO WB Auto
20 sec f8 100ISO WB Auto
I use Element 8 to do selective coloring,
1. Duplicate the layer
2. Go to enhance ..adjust color...remove color
3. Go to Quick Selection Tool
4. Highlight the area you want to color
5. Hit delete.
I hope this works for you
My thanks to you Bob. It certainly is an improvement. Amazing how I saw what I thought was a finished product and you saw an opportunity. Bravo
Thanks Tide for your comment. Your honest thought is as good a critique as asked for. Thanks again
Bob thanks for your comment. Very interesting thought and very easy to accomplish with the black background. I'll give it a try
Beautifully captured......the details in it's coat and textures in the surrounding rock .....FANTASTIC
This is one from my archives. I would like and honest critique. I used black construction paper for the background and had to recolor the background to get a consistent shade.
great captures but #2's details around the eyes and fish makes it exceptional
Seems to be daring me to take his photo. I don't care for the plain blue sky but it one of those cloudless days.
