Ever since I installed Photoshop Elements 2021 on my computer it has become the only Adobe option that appears on my "open with" window. I also have an earlier version of Elements that I would like to use while I'm learning the 2021 version. I've figured out by using a really round about way of opening a file in the older version but if anyone knows how it can be done easily, I'd really like to know how. I don't mind that the 2021 Elements appears on my options list but I didn't realize that my earlier version would disappear from the list. It'd be great if I could get both versions listed on "open with." Thanks, Ace

So, after receiving so many negative remarks regarding my use of caps and the subsequent advice that the forum rules forbid their use, I decided to read the rules. Man oh man, I think the Declaration of Independence is shorter.
(I checked, it is). Some rules seem very reasonable, some don't. The fact that one cannot reply to the page of rules seems like one of the unreasonable rules.
If I'm sitting in front of my computer, in my underwear while I'm writing this, I've probably broken at least 10 rules already.

Okay, okay, I get it. Using caps is considered yelling online. This is something I didn't know. My apologizes to all who were offended. I'm surprised at how offensive caps might be. I appreciate the comments regarding the substance of my question but I'm not asking for a new program or a new computer or a new car for free, I'm just wondering how many of us purchase a program and then two weeks later find out that there are new improvements that will make it significantly better. These brand new improvements will speed up, make more accurate, add beauty and correct the bugs that came with the original purchase of the program. I bought these bugs, you charged me for them. Why do I have to pay to fix your mistakes and/or oversights? If it were a car I'd call it a lemon. The new improved steering wheel will keep it on the road, the improved brakes will stop it sooner, the air conditioning will really cool things off with the new super refrigeration additive. None of this is covered by your warranty by the way. How about a software warranty? It's a crazy idea, but a real sales pitch I might fall for.
With a little research I've found that most of the new aesthetic "improvements" being offered by these companies are available online for free.

THE ONLY ADD-ONS THAT I'VE FOUND REALLY USEFUL ARE THE FREE ONES. IF YOU PURCHASE ANY PROGRAM ALL THE NEW OPTIONS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE WITHOUT ANY TIME LIMIT OR COST. AS LONG AS WE CONTINUE TO GO ALONG WITH THIS ENDLESS SALES ROUTINE WE'LL CONTINUE TO PAY. IF YOU'VE SIGNED UP FOR A MONTHLY OR YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION YOU KNOW OUT FRONT WHAT THE RULES ARE. Where is the clear and sharp template located on Luminar AI? Is this a template that has to be purchased separately or is it found in the new update? I'd really like to try it. I have Luminar AI and I just updated it.

I've had excellent results using DXO Film Pack 5. Many, many templates, tints, simulations of a wide selection of film stock color renderings (and B&W). It may be too easy for some but since I am not a tech wiz I find the program very user friendly and quite extensive in its' selections.

This problem is not unique to Topaz. I've had issues with almost all of the programs I've used. Sometimes I'm able to overcome them, sometimes not. Looking for help from a software supplier is usually a long and complicated slog. Maybe one out of ten "company experts" will even understand the problem that I try to detail. It's generally a joke when they talk about their wonderful support team. Most of these guys really give you little or no real support. It's rare but sometimes the only real support you can get is from a well informed 4th grader. Good Luck.
