Topaz products stopped working

My Topaz Denoise and Sharpen programs will not load, even after the Sharpen 3.0 update I just did. They will not load as LRC plugins or directly from the Windows program lists. Topaz's help site is no help since I can't even seem to do a proper search for info and what I can find seems off-topic and certainly above my pay grade. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas? Is it even possible to contact Topaz? I click on "submit" and nothing happens.

I have uninstalled the newest versions and the old ones don't work either.

No problems on my mac running big sur, either before or after the new upgrades.

Look at your external editor definitions within LR. Access this by Edit / Preferences / External Editing.

Select the Plug-in Definition and the <choose> button. You possibly need to navigate to a new folder and new EXE to enable the new plug-in. Or to restore, navigate to the old EXE in another folder.

I have done that twice with no success. The programs won’t load from outside LR, either. 😠. Will try re-downloading again. Thanks!

I have stand alone versions of both, downloaded both yesterday morning, then thought after reading this post I need to try them out. Mine are working fine but see no improvement in speed. Hope you get it worked out.

No problems in Win 10. That said what OS are you running and have you taken any updates?

Yep, just did a Win 10 update last week. I’m beginning to think that may be part of the problem.

I run up-to-date Windows 10: No problems with either program.

I installed Topaz Sharpen AI 3.0 on my MacBook Pro yesterday. I restarted my computer. What happened next is discouraging. Any photo that I tried to use on Sharpen crashed!!

Topaz has nice products, but their support leaves much to be desired. I have found, however, that if you submit a ticket and request a screen share the tech department will contact you and set up an appointment time. The tech will then take over hot screen and hopefully do what is necessary to resolve your problems. As a general rule I don’t update software until all bugs have been worked out. Usually a few months. Good luck.
