So, after receiving so many negative remarks regarding my use of caps and the subsequent advice that the forum rules forbid their use, I decided to read the rules. Man oh man, I think the Declaration of Independence is shorter.
(I checked, it is). Some rules seem very reasonable, some don't. The fact that one cannot reply to the page of rules seems like one of the unreasonable rules.
If I'm sitting in front of my computer, in my underwear while I'm writing this, I've probably broken at least 10 rules already.

Nobody wants to see debates over the rules. It would probably take more space than a raw vs jpg thread.

Just think how much happier your life would have been if you had read the rules when you first became a member.

If you don't like the rules don't participate.
Now you've broken the rule of topic relevance to the section posting, where this is Chit-Chat.
But, glad to see you've cooled down a bit from yesterday.

Ah hah! You learned something. The UHH forum isn't by the people and for the people. It's whatever the forum owner want. You enter his home you follow his rules. Yes and you did break the rules by posting this thread here but once again it's up to the forum owner to enforce the rule or not. So on the UHH there will be many rules you disagree with but also the rules don't applied equally to all members either.
But one is a capital offense.
This should have been posted to "Chit-Chat".

Or start one's own forum and make one's own rules, or not.
You know darn well that there will
always be someone will have a problem with
at least one rule, no matter what the element for which the rules exist.

Personally, I think it is pure stupidity to get your panties in a bunch over people using caps when sending a post. People just need something to bitch about, and bitching about caps is just one of those stupid ways. Thus, the world we now live in! Personally, your use of caps DID NOT OFFEND ME!!!!

No one got upset...
But notice how composition works by your own example.
Your words are sufficient to get your message across.
You did use some all caps for EMPHASIS...which is the logical way to communicate non verbally.
All caps are the visual 'raising your voice' when writing.
So all caps...is yelling.
