Here in Virginia, we certainly grow peanuts, and we certainly have Blue Jays. Maybe his friend told him about Virginia peanuts, which are among the most famous in the World. By the way, great shot!

That is funny! The question was a little confusing. I guess it meant what town has three states in its town, county, and state name.
In the South, winter weather typically has a good deal of ice. Having lived in both the North and the South, I believe that everyone has some problems with ice. The ice, lack of experience of the drivers, and lack of suitable equipment and chemicals all add to more problems for southern drivers. Probably it makes more economic sense to shut down a southern city during freezing weather than it does to expect a southern city to have the proper equipment and drivers with winter weather experience. News is frequently the unexpected, and freezing weather is certainly unexpected in a city as far south as Atlanta.
Great! Depth of field, leading lines, diagonals, depth of field, contrast, sharpness, detail, simplicity.
May you continue to have fond memories of your brother as time goes on.
I just got a 6S in September. I love it, although I'm still learning how to use it. I've learned more from You-tube than from books so far.
Go southeast towards Fayetteville, WEST VIRGINIA, and see the New River Gorge Bridge. At one time, this was the largest steel arch bridge in the World. Next weekend, October 15, will be bridge day, the day when a whole bunch of brave people jump off the bridge to the New River. Yes, parts of West Virginia are mired in poverty, but it's also a beautiful state.
NIMBY, "Not in my backyard." Unfortunately, many people want the conveniences of modern life without the "icky" parts of it. Where in New England would a new refinery be approved by the local population? Pipelines are also difficult to get approved, even though they are the safest ways to transport petroleum liquids. New refineries have not been approved in the United States in years. Sure there are risks. Life has risks. Remember, the safest airplane never flies.
This city has more ways to gain weight than almost any other place I know about.
I like this picture for the sharp bird and the "bokehed" background. How did you get the bird so sharp?
I am a geologist who worked as a reservoir engineer in Tulsa in the 1980s. The nice thing about low oil prices was that it made that unemploymentt check go that much further, especially when using that low-priced gasoline.
Of course you're right about the luggage, but the last thing I'd do is adjust my phone to landscape while exiting a plane on fire.
