Waited almost two months to get it and used it for about a week, then it malfunctions and dies. Anyone else with the same experience? Lost some photos and two videos that never made it to the cloud too.

That is awful. Just be glad you did not have a Samsung Galaxy Note7, they are catching fire and have all been recalled!
I'm glad I have a Note5, no serious issues!

Your the first that I've heard of this happening to, Still waiting for mine, been over a month now, expected in about 2 weeks. I made my decision on a 7+ (more of a coin toss ) over the Andriods ...and now I read this. Maybe I should stick with the 5s. Nah! Thankfully you have a warranty.

I have had the 7 since launch date, no issues whatsoever, works great, no surprises, sorry to hear that you got one that broke! I am sure that Apple will replace it for you.

The price you pay for having to have the latest and greatest, instead of giving it time to prove it's worth. Add to that that it's Chinese crap now, you are almost guaranteed a disaster.

I don't know where mine was made (sure bet it was made overseas) but it was made by LG and is a piece of junk. I have named it "Stupid" because that is exactly what it is. It is so bad I will never buy another LG in my life. My son had the same phone and couldn't stand it either and finally saved enough to buy an iphone 5s and loves it. Miraculously, all his problems with his stupid went away. Seems Apple is the way to go today but from what I've heard the iphone 5 is better than the 6.
