I have a CanoScan 9000F Mk II and I like it! It works well with my iMac running macOS High Sierra vs 10.13.4 for routine scanning of documents, etc. For scanning slides though, I'd recommend a dedicated slide scanner anyway rather than a flatbed scanner.

I totally agree with Kjr.7007, I have a 7D & a 5D MkIII and the extra magnification with my 100-400 L makes a great combination with the 7D for sports and wildlife.

I have a 7D - you won't regret it!

Congratulations, beautiful pic's. Having just upgraded to full frameformat, hope I can do as well with my new 5D MkIII. For birds I use a Canon ES 100 - 400mm L IS USM, but have previously appreciated extra power when it's on my 7D.

You'll have no regrets; I've had my 7D a while now and it's brilliant. Appreciate the extra power of the x 1.6 factor for the 'reach' of the telephoto lenses too! Just one advantage compared with having gone for the full-frame option!
