Dou know if this lens will fit/work on the Minolta M645? I have 2 of them (original version) and could use your lens as a w/a backup.
I, also am too slow, but my son is guarding my funds quite close to the vest and I am having trouble getting free again. I am 87 and in an assisted living facility, so it may be awhile before I can make a positive decision. Please hang loose.
Healthy or not, coons are a menace. Here in South Texas we use the .410 remedy. Possums are not as bad - they eat our cat food, but are not destructive as coons. And they don't carry RABIES..
Better to have that coon quarantined for 10 or so days to test for RABIES. They do carry it and it is deadly once it gets into one's system.
Are you speaking to me? If so, I'm sorry, but I am confused as to what you are referring. If you are referring me to an update, I m in the dark. HOW?
Bob
I am interested in purchasing the above-mentioned lens. It must be the latest model, which includes VR, IF, F mount, with lens caps and lens shade. All quotes, both new and used, will be considered, but please, try to keep it under $600. If interested, check my profile and get my email address.
Re: Raccoons in backyard. We live in an area outside of our town and have had problems with "coons" for several yea rs. They love to come up on the carport and eat the cats' (16) food. Our temporary solution was my 410 Shotgun, which my son has relieved me of. Now I have no means of deterring them. Our main fear is the possibility of RABIES. Coons in Texas are rife with the deadly virus. If it wasn't for that, I wouldn't mind them so much
I want to thank everyone that answered my query about old floppies. It really gave me something to think about.
I have just today run across some old floppy disks (the hard ones, approximately 3 1/2" X 3 1/2") and I do not have a reader that would accept them. I know there is genealogy data on them as I have used them in the past. Does anyone out there know where I could find a reader that I could use to access whatever is stored on them? I do appreciate any assistance that is offered.
It is the oldest dance hall in Texas. The name of the town and dance hall is pronounced "GREEN", just a few miles southeast of New Braunfels.
Got you all beat - I will be 87 in 11 more days. Not quite as active as I used to be, but I can still charm the ladies at Dairy Queen.
My pedicurist does not paint my toenails. She says it's just for the ladies.
You'd never make it here in South Texas, 100 degrees is spring to us.
That's one reason I do not shop at Wally World anymore. There are better places locally where I can spend my money and it stays in my hometown.
I've been a subscriber for several months now and really enjoy the "Photo Games" section, especially the crossword puzzle each day. Thanks for the shout out.
