Secondly adult pornography has been studied for years and no connection has ever been made between pornography and crime.
Third and probably most important, If I watch or even act in a pornography video, no one dies.
And finally, when I shoot someone with my camera, no one dies.
I understand you want your gun. I don't even care if you make a porn video with your gun. I want mentally disturbed people and criminals not to be able to get guns, and your friends at the NRA have fought that law for years.
Let's get sensible and regulate these weapons.

Your contention that Virginia is safer than Illinois is wrong. Virginia has a homicide rate of 10.5 per 100,000 people and Illinois has 8 per 100,000.
So perhaps, Chicago gun laws might make you safer in Virginia.

A simplistic answer from an uninformed man who said exactly what I thought he would before I even heard him. How sad, that he didn't use this opportunity to open a meaningful discussion about this issue and arrive at a solution that would protect the 2nd amendment as well as protect our children from mentally ill people who chose a gun and mass murder as an exit strategy.
Taking his suggestion of armed police in schools, one must then extend that and put armed officers on every school bus. Then we'll need armed officers in churches, shopping malls, parks and movie theaters.
This strategy, that the NRA chooses to use would be akin to protecting your house from a forest fire by burning it down.
Can't we reach a middle ground on this issue or must we engage in a circular firing squad?
