Wildlife In Around The Lakes Region this week

I love your shots! Can one drive to the area these eagles are located? I live about 1.5 hours north of the lake region but currently due to knee problems I have to shoot from my car.

Have you noticed that the PRESS is BIASED and DISTORTS what is reported? Do some cross reference on what is reported the truth will come out. As example .. years ago I was traveling in Florida and in this neighborhood there were some people on the sidewalks burning stuff in cans (oil drums). The press reported a riot in that neighborhood when there was really NOTHING happening!!

photography and linux

I have been using linux for many years now. To run Adobe products under linux wine will work for some but the best match is virtualbox running any version of windows within linux. With this combo you have the best of both a fast secure machine and apps you already know. To be sure there is a learning curve but it is worth it. Why pay for windows buggy software when you can buy once and just upgrade your hardware occasionally.

Lightroom 6.1 freezes

Most problems like that you describe can be linked to too little ram memory. Windows uses the swap file for help when pressed .. but when it hits the wall it gives up. Try adding more ram.

I had a friend once in NH that was in his toilet during a storm. He had just gotten up and was about to leave when a bolt struck his house, traveled down the pipe and he stood there amazed while his toilet blew up! Close call!

Inkfarm

I have the same printer and I also have switched to "Inkfarm". I can say their product is fast on delivery and excellent ink. I cannot tell about archival quality until a few years from now.. stay tuned.

How does it make you feel?

I am an artist .. trained as an artist. Some art that I see I believe is just marketing with little or no art involved aside from the art of salesmanship.
