I have photo that I did today, keeping everything in mind that you guys told me! Thoughts or comments?

Thank you so much for your input! The issues with composition, lighting etc i will DEFINETLY educate myself on! The FB stuff will be fixed tonight! I unfortunately did NOT have any "professional" training. I decided to go to college for nursing which is what I have been doing for the last 8 years. I feel photography is an art! Captain C while your words were definetly harsh and slightly unnecessary, I will take them to heart. I am not trying to take business from anyone. I am simply trying to do something that I love doing and make people happy. I do ask about the consistency to images though...if I do one photo lets say black and white are you saying they all need to be black and white? Joe, thank you! Constructive criticism is always welcome! I will look into the book you mentioned and continue to educate myself and look for ways to always make myself better!

Hi, My name is Britney and I have been doing photography for appx 2 years. It started out just as a hobby then I started getting paying customers:) Now, even offering specials etc my customer base is dwindling! It has made me reevaluate my work! Please someone help and tell me what/why my work isn't getting repeat customers?!?!? Helpful hints as to how to make my work better?? Thank you all for the comments and critiques! I actually used a black muslin backdrop but I didn't like the color it looked in the pictures. More gray. So I just did a black fill on it. Now, that it was brought to my attention, the one does look like I kind of dropped her on there lol. Here is the original photo without any edits:)

How is it done either using Corel or PS Elements? please help:)

I only edited the first one. Any tips on how to edit the 2nd one?

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for the encoragement! I'm not going to let it bother me any more because I have wasted too much of my time doubting myself thanks to her. I've got shoots scheduled and obviously those people have seen my work. I do not claim to be a professional nor do I charge for my pictures(yet anyways). Its really sad that people feel the need to put other people down in order to make themselves feel better. Again, thank you guys for all your wonderful support:)

I just want to let you know your photos are really not that great and you should really take some classes on how to take photos i mean really there all the same on here b&w little kids Waterfalls all original stuff be a little creative that is what a photographer is suppose to do k thanks rookie
