Card malfunction this can happen when you delete a shot this space you have deleted is free, then your camera tries to use the available space for more data but the new image (data) is too big to fit in the free space something has to give. I never delete shots until I’ve copied the whole card on a backup drive, then I format the whole card. If you have a big memory card start creating folders if you are shooting a few days at a time. But this is dangerous in case of card failure. Backup as soon as possible never leave nothing to chance, that’s important.

On rapid fire use the back button and tracking focus. If you’re on spot focusing you will need to ramp up your shutter speed at minimum of 2 stops if you hardware can handle the poor weather situation, also tweak the ISO a little. You can clean up the noise in post process AI. To break down your question, your shot of the helicopter is no longer in the position where you achieved focus. Basically your shot is not out of focus it’s double vision. Hay Hay this is my opinion only, I’m no pro

There’s not much definitive to focus on. Your subject is very busy, if possible put a small coloured sticker on and move the sticker around and focus stacking. Get some on to hold something as close as you can then lock focus. Clean you glass you will be surprised it make a difference. Try f8 camera locked on tripod move spot focusing and not the camera take multiple shots to stack. If there’s a little light you could try F16/ 4 seconds open. Your are going to have to play around with the time. You will have to post the W/B. As you know you are going to have to experiment with anything at your disposal

ISO
F stops
-/+
W/B
Shutter speed
Flash defusing if possible
Tripod and trigger

Do a selective start, then you will know what is clogging up the integration of your PC. When you know you’re working with safe flies turn off virus protection. Only open up a few images at a time. This is good practice on a handicapped machine. Until fixed

Extreme pro have 25 years warranty you just pay for postage you shouldn’t trust a media card once you have had a problem with it. Send it in it takes about 10 days for the exchange

I've been using a mid 2012 Macbook Pro for photo editing but it's too slow. I've been thinking, due to budget reasons, of an older iMac. Maybe a Apple iMac 21.5" i5 8GB 1TB (Late 2015) Mk442ll/a model for around $600. Looking for suggestions and input from the Hoggers!

Hold it there tiger slap in a ssd drive it will speed it x6

Still having problems with night cityscapes---suggestions--also flaring of the lights on the right side of photo. What caused this and how to eliminate this?
I think you will have to do multiplication of shoots and stack focus across the vast area you are wanting to capture you can alway try F16 with ND filter locked down on a good quality tripod @ ss of 90 open then lower the time your sensor is open. Have you tried bracketing to create HDR? Also try shooting mirror up to limit vibrations with trigger release, locked down on tripod

I was on a trip, and I took some pictures with my Nikon D800 , Sigma 150-600. I have a hard time seeing the little screen of the shots, so when I arrived back home, I discovered all my shots were a loss. I am not sure what I did wrong, any help would help that the same mistake will not happen again. Thank You.
if you are unable to view your screen always fire a few off in program that way you will get something too work with. If you are a serious tog and not just having a laugh, pick up the manual or the PDF on line Start at page one.

Have you being recovering files from a memory card? Check! With a software program, this crates a folder on C drive. Have look at your bin allocated size, also Is the empty? You can install programs on a different drive windows puts a automatic link on your C drive which is minimal space used, it Will add a milli second or 2 to load a program that’s not on C. unless you have set a new destination documents setup a folder on C drive, Have you loads of stuff in their. Other than that you could have been hacked if the hard drive light is constantly flickering when your not doing anything. You will get an odd flash but not a Constance blaze of activity

To support your RAM make sure you get a hi-quality ssd drive. A minimum 500 gig use it only for your operating system. You can install programs on others drives if you are running close too exhaust on Ram, windows will start to use C drive to dump. However photoshop and light room will have to be installed on your C drive. Also remember keep a dedicated folder on another drive to dump unfinished projects and not on your desktop. As you know your desktop is for short cuts
