Why isn't there a governing body over them to make sure they keep their promises, all the bullshit before election would stop because they would know the have to keep their word. Our politicians are all the same. Wouldn't you love to be the one reminding them.Every time they don't do something that they promised, you would be there to tap them on the shoulder, Remember when................
Oh well I guess its a pipe dream.

Hello sm, I love your shot. I'd love to go to Florida. With your avatar, your location says in hiding, Im fairly new here too and I'm still trying to work out why people don't put where they're from. Oh well, thats my 2 bobs worth.

Really doesn't matter what lens you use, just be very careful about focus. Easy on the button and for flowers, try to use a tripod.

I find that if I need a breeze in the warm weather, I just try to get a closeup or macro of a flower, the breeze will come.

Sarge

Thanks Sarge, that really helps, thanks for taking the time.

My favourite too. I took the above shot on dslr but had my film body too, that was loaded with Ilford fp4plus B/W film, i shot the whole roll of 36 and was very excited of possible results until i discovered that the film hadnt wound on !!! I dare not shoot the same roll but i got another roll to try.

So sorry to hear that, I couldn't tell you how many times that happened to me. Very disappointing.

I agree with AzPicLady, black & white tells a story without confusion, love it.

I like it Paul, wouldn't change a thing. Its natural and its good. I'm only new at this but I think some people go a bit overboard with touching up.

Send the photos to a museum at least they will tell you the truth or send the photos to sotherbys at the very least they can give you some history on it. I wonder what it says on the blade. I love stuff like that.

They are all three out of focus. What lens were you using and how close were you? This was something I went through also and was told often that with the lens I was using I was too close. Wise UHH'er told me once. Better to crop a good shot then fix a bad closeup.

Thankyou for that, it really helps. I don't know anything about lenses, I got 3 with my camera so I'm just playing with them but yes I can see that now, thankyou. The lens was a EFS18-55mm and yes I was close. would I have been better off using my 50mm do you think?

thanks for the kind words. I dont think colour conveys emotion like B/W.
