[quoete=Haveago]I'll start us off shall I

Well mines fishing (UK) for coarse or carp not at the sametime I hasten to add. I used to fish for trout as well but my left shoulder is shot so fly casting is out. I still tie the flies tho' for display purposes & sell them as attached, pics No1 & No3.

Over the past few yrs UK has fished for carp using "carp bugs" flies costing about £6.00 (a few dollars) for a card of 4/5 some exampes are in pic No2. If I tied them each one would take maybe 5 mins, cost around 10pence, (a few cents maybe) not a lot a.

So over to you plse. . . . . .

This topic has come up before, and I read an article about it last night. For some reason (greed?) Adobe charges much more for its products for the Australian market. As a matter of fact, Aussies could get PS for less money by flying half way around the world to the United States. From Adobe, “If Australian customers don’t see the value of Adobe’s software, they can buy another company’s software” Robson said. “Alternatively, they can take a trip overseas or import the American version.”

And software companies wonder why software piracy is so common.

when i upload my photo's in photoshop elements..i would like to create layers for each photo.. how is that possible
i'm trying to clone some photo's.. i've seen the videos...and they have work with layers, but they don't explain how they got those layers

Make sure your layers-bin is open (Window -> Layers).
With an image open, Look at the icons in the layers-bin:
The one that looks like a page with folded corner, will give you a new, blank layer above the selected one. (To select, simply click on the layer).
The icon that looks like a half dark, half light circle, will give you a new adjustment layer above the selected layer. You will also have to choose what kind of adjustment.
The icon looking like a square with a hole in it, will give you a layer mask ON the selected layer.
The next two icons will lock all pixels, or lock transparent pixels - I don't know how to use them, as I never have.

To be sure, there also are keyboard shortcuts to work with layers, or you can go through the menu under layers, but to begin I think the visual aspect of the icons may be easiest.

(I use PSE11, but I believe these icons are the same as in PSE10).

Any chance of adding spell check to this forum so we can understand what some of these people are writing.

There are few differences in Aus/English and American as in our spelling of colour think yours is color have seen a few other words that are spelt differently.

Spell check has picked up color as wrong not a big deal I have always been very bad at spelling and I quite like the spell check

Didn't like the way it used the tripod mounting hole though.

My Op/Tech doesn't use the tripod mount hole. That allows me to carry around a very light weight tripod which sure beats carrying around one of my big heavy duty ones when I'm out walking for hours at a time. I admit my light weight tripod is not the sturdiest but I can keep the strap around my neck in case the tripod gives way which it did once. I didn't tighten the knob tight enough on one leg. Having the strap around my neck saved the camera.

Thought I was a bit nutty as I do the same thing keep my camera strap on, bit of a pain BUT same thing happened to me and am unable to get the filter off as it stuck on to lens from fall so strap stays on still able to use lens so glad had the filter on
