I used to work at the Lake Granbury Marina. This was such a beautiful and fun lake! When the owners put in Stumpy's Grill, business was nuts and now it is almost nonexistent. What a shame. Is is BRA greed in selling off the water?

Jackasses are those people who deem it acceptable to read into the second amendment the right to bear arms regardless of the cost in innocent lives.

30000 Americans die every year in gun related deaths, a very significant proportion could live if America followed the lead of their more civilised democratic counterparts.

The purpose of the constitution is to protect the citizens, not vice versa.

Gee, I seem to be be reading it the same way the Supreme Court does!!

The purpose of the Constitution is to protect the RIGHTS of the citizens, not to protect the citizens. Sorry you are anti gun but I stick to my statement that the people from the college that are sanctioning students that live off campus and have a firearm in their residence are JACKASSES in MHO.

If you prefer the "the lead of their more civilised democratic counterparts", maybe you should consider relocating.

What a bunch of jackasses!!!!! The administration of this "institution of higher learning" violates their student's Constitutional rights by prohibiting firearms on university owned property even though it is not on campus. What a bunch of putzes!!!!
Typical college mentality of today.

I sent them an e-mail also. Bet I never hear back from them!!

Retired with a "full pension" after just 25 years... that's what sent me into shock.

He was employed by the police department and probably did not have the right to release anything.

Best that he was fired. He could blow the case because of his carelessness.

C'mon ole sarg, read the article. He was not fired, he retired!! Releasing the photo did not and would not compromise the case. There were other cell phone photos taken and released and nothing happened as a result.

FYI, There is a flyable P-38 housed at the museum at March ARB in Riverside, Ca. I think it is a replica.

She is a beautiful aircraft. I saw her at CAF museum about 5 years ago. Do you know if there is still a flying B-36? My dad used to work on them at Carswell in '54. I can still remember going on board one at an airshow and riding the trolly along the fuselage! I think I was 6!

"FIFI" is a B-29 not a B-36. Great shots though.
