Do you know any funny names of cities? I have lived in only 4 states, but they have some towns with some really strange names.

My oldest daughter is pregnant with her 2nd child (a girl). She has not thought of a name yet. Maybe these will give her inspiration. We looked in the medicine cabinet for ideas but quickly realized that all those names were taken and most, were way over used. We are simple folk.

Many valleys are called 'bottom' here in The Chilterns (and elsewhere) and if there is a settlement there they take a name such as Beacons Bottom of Bryant's Bottom.

I don't thin it still exist but I grew up in Flat River MO. Flat we several years ago combined with five other towns to form Park hills. one of these was Crawly Bottom.
